With this unique setting, personal charm, character, and friendly but attentive personnel, Barnsdale Hall Hotel is the perfect venue whatever your occasion may be. Extensive spa and leisure facilities makes it a haven in which to retreat, relax and unwind. With its breathtaking views of the natural splendours of Rutland Water where better to hold your wedding reception, corporate event, or a romantic getaway for two?Set in conservation parkland on the slopes overlooking Rutland Water, Barnsdale Hall Hotel is one of the most unusual and comprehensive hotel complexes in the United Kingdom. This makes it an ideal location for corporate business, conference and leisure pastimes. With a rich and varied range of things to do on and off site there is, we believe, no better position in which to be located in this country.

This place is trying to be all things to all people, and failing to excel at anything. There is a lack of management and leadership, which is obvious in all aspects of the hotel. Reception On arrival, though we had booked two rooms as a family, we were allocated rooms in

Dear katy-birkin1994, Thank you for your your feedback following your visit to the Beauty Team and Leisure Centre. I am sorry to hear that you were not informed of the pool area closure for 1 hour from 1pm to 2pm for Maintenance work. Our Leisure Team would inform you normally at the time of booking the date if there are any scheduled closure times for the pool or other facilities on that day, so that you are aware or that you can choose an alternative date to visit. I am glad however, that your sister enjoyed her massage and the Beauty Team were delighted to hear of it. We hope that despite the shortened Leisure time we will have the pleasure of seeing you again soon. Kind Regards,

We only used the jacuzzi but I wasn’t overly impressed with the whole pool area looked more like a public pool than a hotel pool 🏊‍♂️

It is near the famous gardens but we stayed at the Barnsdale opposite and we were quite disappointed with the whole place. Entrances were horribly dull, dining area was quite a walk and very poor social area. It all felt like one big “camp sight” with chalets dominating.
