Immaculate, luxurious and spacious rooms and guest lounge. The heated spa nestled in lush natural flora under the wairarapa sun was pure bliss. Tracey and Jim are exceptionally customer oriented and anticipate your every need ...even the background music at breakfast and inviting my overseas friends to feed the alpacas. The fresh organic eggs, homemade spreads using fresh grown produce...

My husband and I both deserved a well earned break .The Summit Lodge was just what we needed. The lodge has beautiful surroundings with park like gardens and is only a short drive to many local places of interest. The room we stayed in was well appointed and quiet. Well we were the only guest there. Our host Jim and...

thank you so much for your review - and I am glad that Jim delivered for you! it has been rather a busy few months but we are back on track. The trip overseas was unplanned - usually we are both here but emergencies happen - and the back-up plan obviously was successful!

apologies for delay in responding and thank you for your review. We hope to see you again soon - you would find that at the moment it is over 30 degrees here - a little warmer than when you stayed - and the garden is a little drier! Tracey & Jim

These lovely people had a delicious meal waiting for me when I arrived on a wet night after a long day. The weather had just turned unseasonably cold and I was so cosy and comfortable here. The rooms are luxurious and clean with everything I needed. We had interesting conversations that carried on the next morning over the very nice...

Thank you Diana. Loved having you here and putting the world to rights over dinner! Yes, the middle room is very sheltered from the weather so in a southerly it is perfect. The Rimu room at the back is more private when other guests are booked in - and it is wheelchair accessible. Other than that, all three rooms are...

We stayed 2 nights here as a centre for visiting the wineries but we impressed with the surrounding beauty and some lovely towns to visit nearby. Jim and Tracey are superb hosts welcoming us with drinks and snacks in the courtyard and later we enjoyed an excellent meal which we had prebooked with matching wines. The accommodation was impressive with...

We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay. Many people don't realise how much there is to see and do in the area - the walks, towns, beaches, wineries and numerous attractions (and...

We had a great time at the Lodge. Tracey and Jim were excellent hosts, with helpful information about the area and excellent conversation over breakfast. The breakfast was generous and well prepared. The facilities are very comfortable, the garden a marvel despite the near drought. We hope to be back.

A very relaxing and comfortable place to unwind. Great hosts and animal family. One night not long enough. Only criticism is the misleading name; you can see and drive to summits but you are not on one! Apart from that couldn't fault it.
