The hosts were so warm and welcoming. They took pity on us after a disasterous arrival in New Zealand and gave us an upgrade! The property is so beautiful to wander around, full of interesting plants and animals.

This lovely historic home is set in extensive grounds and adorned with many timeless treasures. The real treasure is Elizabeth whose genuine warm hospitality was much appreciated. Her delightful personality and wonderful home cooking make for a memorable stay.

beautiful old house with a wealth of history and archives. Robyn and Elizabeth were charming and full of interesting information. A tour around the vast gardens with refurbished equipment and carriages, orchards, hen houses - tea and cake in the garden on arrival. We were told about this Historic 1880s Homestead,it is a must stay if you are in Masterton area. Elizabeth met us with a warm welcome and afternoon tea. This is a comfortable Country Reteat with class. The 135 year old homestead, situated on the outskirts of Masterton, has been elegantly restored and is surrounded by a beautiful historic garden. We only found Llandaff thanks to Trip Advisor & other positive rave reviews - so I'm happy to report everything was up to expectations! We stayed two nights in this lovely quiet Victorian house, which is set in fields just outside Masterton. Hosts Robin and Elizabeth were extremely welcoming and helpful.
