Le Thovex is absolutely as good as it looks - stone built, characteristic wood finished rooms, tastefully furnished with carefully chosen quality local decor by Annalisa. A warm welcome when you arrive and all the help you need to have a great ski week - or MTB & walking in the summer months. The individual spacious warm rooms are perfectly...

Quaint little chalet / bed and breakfast just outside the main town of La Thuile facing the slopes (5 mins by car). Ruggero and his wife are fantastic hosts with home made breakfasts and very clean, simple and comfortable rooms. There's even a sauna! Fantastic value and highly recommended alternative to the hotels in the town.

My Husband and I had the most wonderful weeks skiing this year, end of march beginning of April, The stay at Le Thovex was the making of our holiday with fantastic hosts Ruggiero and Analisa whom both made us welcome from greeting us when we arrived and were shown to our lovely welcoming room (Brebis Room) to getting the sauna...

We went with friends who had been before many times- a recommendation in itself. Everything was wonderful and great value. The menu offered plenty of choice with an excellent choice of wines from the region. Ruggiero and Analisa are the perfect hosts.

This favourite B&B run by Annalisa and Ruggero never fails to please. The hostess and host simply fantastic and make you feel at home immediately. Then comes the food and wine...simply divine. So yet again we had a fabulous time. A favourite of ours for the past 10 years and gets better each year. Will be back again.

We spent a week with the lovely Ruggero and Annalisa , at the Le Thorex Band B . I cannot express how lovely they both were , they made us feel so welcome . The room was spotlessly clean and Ruggero cooking was sublime . His lamb dish was Michelin star quality at very affordable prices . We would definitely...

Le Thovex is an extraordinary place with warm and generous hosts. We stayed there a week in beginning of February. The room, no. 6, is spacious, decorated with taste and utterly clean, that goes for the bathroom too. The sense for taste in decoration is seen again in the restaurant. The food is delicious, Ruggero is a fine cook and...

So, the wife, I and the boy were driving back to London from a week in central Italy with plans to stay in a B and B on the French side of the Alps. Somewhere just south of Turin our satnav says we are being rerouted due to traffic conditions in Turin, with the new route sending us up the...

We had dinner at Le Thovex, but didn't stay there. The couple that run the restaurant are lovely, taking time to explain the dishes and help us choose a local wine that was the perfect accompaniment to our meal. The menu had a handful of carefully prepared dishes in each category (antipasti, pasta, main, contorni, dessert). Very glad my husband...

We had dinner here but didn't stay and the food was amazing. The chef came and explained the dishes and any changes to the menu. I had loin of lamb, which was beautifully cooked and my husband had confit duck, which was amazing. Very good value too, 66 euros for 2 including a very, very good bottle of wine
