I always say things happen for a reason. My husband, and two daughters beached our jet skis on a sandbar off the shores of Pine Cay. A very friendly family that have a home on the island came to our rescue. Since we wouldn't be able to move the jet skis until the tide came in, it was suggested that... More

My wife and I just returned from a few days in quiet paradise. We had been considering Meridian Club for a couple of years but kept putting it off due to the fact that our tropical vacations are usually dive until you drop and see every sight there is to see endeavors. You know - the kind of trip where... More

We feel inclined to say "Yes, Virgina, there is a Santa Claus". It fills our hearts with joy to see you hit on the things we take the most pride in - our private beach, the cleanliness of the resort, and the hospitality of our staff. Thank you More

We stayed at the Meridian Club to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary. We have been to many areas in the Caribbean, but this was our first time in Turks and Caicos. First, the boat trip to and from the resort is amazing – you pass by some of the most beautiful beaches you will ever see. Since we were the... More

The Meridian Club proved to be the perfect location for our wedding anniversary getaway. Everything about our stay was absolute perfection! Each day, we had the breathtaking beach to ourselves. We booked the cozy Sand Dollar Cottage & adored the privacy that came along with this space tucked away from the main rooms. The entire staff was friendly & accommodating... More

We spend a week in Pine Cay, at the Meridian Club. By far, this was our best vacation ever. Everything was perfect: first, a 3 mile beach unspoiled, at best we could see 3 or 4 people on the entire beach, then the staff was the nicest we had seen in a long time, helpful and accommodating, food as excellent,... We chose to spend a week at The Meridian Club after a lengthy research of the available hotels and vacation rentals. We were not disappointed. In fact, we were amazed. Although the reviews and photos are fantastic, they do not reflect the how spectacular this island is. The managers, Bev and Wally, make you feel like you are truly home.... More

The beach at the Meridian Club is probably the best we have found in the Caribbean. We stayed in the "Sand Dollar Cottage". The food is very average. They provide a fish or meat/chicken entree every night. We were very disappointed that the fresh fish choice every night was the same, red snapper. When we inquired about the lack of... More

Thank you so much for your frank feedback regarding some of the issues we had during your stay. While we did have a few challenges, and have addressed them all with you directly – such as the Sand Dollar Cottage is always booked so we had a challenge getting in there for the repair (but the repairs are completed) and... We loved the Meridian Club. It's hard to limit what we liked. Highlights include gorgeous, secluded beach (in fact, Pine Cay redefined what a "secluded beach" means for me!), excellent food, awesome snorkeling and kayaking, perfect room. But what brings it all together is the staff. Not only are they friendly, caring, attentive--they have a long-term personal relationship with the... More

Do you want peace and quiet on your vacation? Miles of perfect white beaches. Water clear and warm. Very few people on the island. Eco friendly. No trash or garbage at the beach or trails. No cars. Food scrumptious. Staff were engaging and very friendly. Idyllic.

What a lovely resort--comfortable cottages, beautiful long, white-sand beach, exquisite food--and, best of all, the most wonderful, welcoming, friendly, helpful staff you've ever wanted to encounter! There's privacy for those who want it, in the cottage, under your Tiki, even on the beach--or you can choose to enjoy the company of others at the Clubhouse. Scroll down these reviews and... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Meridian Club is a private island hideaway resort in the Turks & Caicos islands of the Caribbean, with two miles of deserted, pristine white-sand beach (just 90 minutes by air from Miami). The property is environmentally sensitive and ideal for those seeking an unspoiled secluded retreat. Founded in 1973, the Meridian Club offers a Caribbean experience the way it was before the appearance of big hotels and condominiums, jet skis and beach umbrella communities. No crowds, no cars, no noise - a step back in time to a simpler, less hectic life. 12 beachfront/premium rooms and the Sand Dollar Cottage are set among sand dunes, sea oats and sea grapes, fronting on the beach. Some of the privately owned homes that share the island are also available for rent. Soothing trade winds ensure comfortable temperatures and low humidity year round while the surrounding waters (averaging a pleasant 75° - 80° Fahrenheit) teem with marine life. Underwater visibility often exceeds 100 feet and there are miles of coral gardens within a five minute boat ride. Ashore, Pine Cay remains a pristine natural haven, a private secluded island with vast open space and seven freshwater ponds, a perfect habitat for the abundant local fauna and flora. Winner of several awards from TripAdvisor, Andrew Harper, Caribbean Journal and Fodors honored. ... more   less
