What an amazing place. The beach is amazing. The staff was very nice and accommodating and the food was incredible. If you are looking for a quiet, privet, romantic place to get away this is the place to go.

The Meridian Club is a hotel with few rooms , all on the beach. You can just exit your room and walk to swim in the wonderful turquoise waters. You can do nothing , or go fishing or snorkeling , or read. If you wish to mingle with other guests it is always very friendly, if you raher stay on...

This was a spectacular property. There are golf carts available to explore the cay and no cars!!! This created a 'get away from it all' atmosphere. Views from the room and central area are amazing. Staff balance giving you space and privacy with making sure your stay is pleasant. Rooms are very beach cottage-like. With the blinds open in the...

From the moment I arrived at the Meridian Club I felt a sense of Peace come over me. The Property is beautiful, and tranquil. The Beach had the most incredible color of Aqua Blue water with Powder White sand I have ever seen. Once we relaxed in the surf for a few a hours we joined other quest for a...

Went here for our honeymoon! Wow! And I mean Wow!!! No TV, no cell, no crowd! We walk for an hour and didn't see a soul! The food is amazing. We were there for 7 days and u don't think we had the same thing twice. I love this place. So so beautiful and sophisticated. We will be back next...

The Meridian Club is one of those very rare gems that sets standards that other holiday venues try to copy. Whilst many people site Parrot Cay as the ideal Turks and Caicos location, the mere fact that the Meridian Club keeps many celebrities, and the subsequent press and ‘fans’ away, makes it a far more attractive location. From the moment...

Thank you so much for your thoughtful and insightful review. You used any words we might offer, and have left us ... speechless! We look forward to hosting you again. You might need a respite, after you visit your 101st (or 102nd or 103rd) country.

The perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. The setting was absolutely beautiful with each room looking onto the beach and with your own assigned tiki umbrella. We rarely saw other guests except at meals and were often on the beach alone. The best was going to the beach at night to see all the stars. Guests are able to take...

Here is a place where you pay for what you DON'T get, and I mean this as a great plus. No telephone in your room. No air conditioning in most rooms ( not necessary with the ceiling fans and the trade winds), but good wifi in all the rooms. Nowhere else to go for meals -- so no reservation anxiety...

We stayed at Pine Cay last week for 5 days. It is a uniquely isolated and wild island. We found it bug infested, overpriced and poorly maintained. The meals listed on their web site were not what was served. Buyer beware.

The Meridian Club defies categorization. As the sole resort on Pine Cay, it is a reflection and extension of the small group of homeowners that own and steward this very secluded and idyllic island. Is it a luxury hotel? With only 13 suites situated directly on the beach, a two-mile crescent of pristine white sand and turquoise water, it certainly...

Thank you Scott for taking the time to write a review. We know a review such as yours took time and thought and appreciate the candid feedback. It seems you really understand our value proposition and the nuance with luxury, food, hospitality, beach and rooms. As for the mosquitoes, we generally do not have an excessive problem (unless there is...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Meridian Club is a private island hideaway resort in the Turks & Caicos islands of the Caribbean, with two miles of deserted, pristine white-sand beach (just 90 minutes by air from Miami). The property is environmentally sensitive and ideal for those seeking an unspoiled secluded retreat. Founded in 1973, the Meridian Club offers a Caribbean experience the way it was before the appearance of big hotels and condominiums, jet skis and beach umbrella communities. No crowds, no cars, no noise - a step back in time to a simpler, less hectic life. 12 beachfront/premium rooms and the Sand Dollar Cottage are set among sand dunes, sea oats and sea grapes, fronting on the beach. Some of the privately owned homes that share the island are also available for rent. Soothing trade winds ensure comfortable temperatures and low humidity year round while the surrounding waters (averaging a pleasant 75° - 80° Fahrenheit) teem with marine life. Underwater visibility often exceeds 100 feet and there are miles of coral gardens within a five minute boat ride. Ashore, Pine Cay remains a pristine natural haven, a private secluded island with vast open space and seven freshwater ponds, a perfect habitat for the abundant local fauna and flora. Winner of several awards from TripAdvisor, Andrew Harper, Caribbean Journal and Fodors honored. ... more   less
