Excellent and polite staff. Great facilities and a beautiful experience. In my opinion anyone giving this hotel and it's personnel anything less then 3 stars is a liar with a hidden agenda who is trying to slander this facility and its staff. Dr. George P.

We stayed for a night only. The room was fine nothing special but perfect for what we needed. A place to crash after o long day hiking and canoeing in the park. The hotel is facing a nice small lake where you can do activities, sunbathing and relax. If you are looking for a budget place while visiting the park... More

Great location but that is the only good thing I can say. The room was OK but needs updating. Had to get someone to help connect satellite three times. The Algonquin Inn needs help. Lots of repairs need to be done, the place looks very tired. Dinner was ok, never got dessert, the main was pretty ordinary and the one... More

This hotel is a little pricey for what it offers, but I would certainly stay here again! It is in need of some TLC for looks, but everything works just fine, and the location is beautiful! The staff behind the counter were very friendly, and made me feel welcome as soon as we arrived. I was worried with some of... More

Use to stay at the Algonquin Inn when Gary & Tina owned it, was a wonderful place but now with the new owners they don`t care, the place it untidy, peeling paint, bad beds, broken ac and blocked sinks, not to mention a dock which was not even tide to shore, broken screen doors & terrible wi-fi. The worst bit... More

The setting beside the lake and the view thereof was fantastic but the room was ordinary and tired. There was only just enough for our 2 suitcases. There were no tea & coffee facilities in the room. Free WiFi is provided as is a microwave and fridge. Breakfast is included in room rate and is quite reasonable but service can... More

I used to stay at Algonquin Lakeside Inn on a regular basis but have noticed things going downhill for years. On my recent stay in Jan 2016, we arrived to find the room we had booked was not as stated on our booking form, it didn't have a fridge/microwave as listed and we were "upgraded" to another room. We had... More

I don't even know where to start. The room was dirty with garbage left from previous visitors, there were rodents in the walls and ceiling scratching all night, the bedding was disgusting and there was nobody to contact in an emergency situation. I had to leave and nobody would answer my phone calls or emails on repeated occasions. I am... More

Do not waste your money! The room had goldfish crackers and coffee creamer lids on the floor, no blankets even though it was November! Animals of some sort in wall and ceiling keeping us up all night. No one would answer the phone when we called with our concerns, no one at the desk! It felt like we were staying... More

The resort is at a great location. Most rooms are truly waterfront. There is an interlocking bricks deck at the back of the room which is steps away from the lake. The bath room is very clean with all types of clean towels and simple toiletry. The room is a kind of dated and needs a face lift. The restaurant... More
