This was the second time I've stayed just for one night here. It was just as peaceful and relaxing as I remembered (mind you it was only last October I stayed and even my memory isn't that bad) Had booked two rooms a triple and a double for myself hubby and three kids. As we arrived after last food orders(8.30pm)...

This place is in a great location but the bar is average. The reviews that say it is the worst in the world or the best ever are overstating their points... It is average. The bar area is fairly interesting our food was good. The burger was well prepared and cooked. Presentation was fine. It came in a timely fashion....

Where to begin....? Upon arrival you enter a time warp. It reminded me of 1965. Decor, seating, carpets, toilet. I would guess total expenditure of £5000 since my last visit 25 years ago. Lounge windows which look out over river and mountains are FROSTED! Staff uniforms disgusting, not clean. Seating not fit for dogs. Poor, poor, poor.

Stayed here as part of our walk across Scotland. The hotel is in a spectacular and beautifully wild location. The lounge bar area is cosy, comforting and welcoming, and the pub-style food and beer were good. However, this is where the good news ends...... To cut a long story short, the accommodation is falling apart. We had no hot water...

We stayed for a couple of nights and this is a good enough place to stay. The food was tasty and the bed comfy. All staff were friendly and the drinks at the bar were well priced. I liked the fact that the deer would come to see you in the lining and it is 2mins from glencoe ski resort....

I used to go on this hotels website and look thru the webcams to see the wonderful sights. No doubts the location is amazing! We ventured inside - they are having a bit of work doing - the inside is quite nice. We were here last week so very quiet in Jan - we couldn't sit in the bar as...

Our family of four occupied the family room for the night of 5th January 2015. Whilst the hotel could be described as somewhat old fashioned and a little tired, we felt this added to the experience of the place bearing in mind the remote location. The room was very comfortable and clean, as were the beds, the bathroom had plenty...

Stayed here en route to and from Inverie and had 2 great nights on 29th December and 3rd January. Love this place for what it is and more importantly where it is. Staff are always friendly. Nice atmosphere in the bars and hearty reasonably priced food. Stayed here on 2 previous occasions and we were welcomed back like old friends.

We keep coming back!! Seriously don't think the poor reviews are deserved. Love this place for what it is and where it is. The staff are great, so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Great bar and lovely food.

Just spent very comfortable evening at this hotel. was attending a ceilidh, had a good meal and stayed the night". the room was very comfortable and warm on a very cold night and although the shower wasn't modern it was lovely and hot. the breakfast was tasty well cooked and nicely presented. the staff were not numerous but well organised...
