While the Glencoe Inn can't be considered a luxury accommodation, it was an absolutely perfect base for those of us there to explore the area. We did not feel inappropriate in making our way into the place in very damp, sometimes a little muddy attire. (They have a drying room for your outdoor clothes/gear, if needed.) We had a room...

Good hotel experience - comfortable, well furnished, quiet rooms, plenty of parking. Friendly staff, good dinner in the Gathering restaurant. Good value all round, would recommend. But... The problem was the breakfast - the waitress was rather unfriendly, kept ignoring us, even when we made eye contact. Took 45 minutes to even get a cup of tea - when we...

Stayed 2 nights in small but clean and comfortable standard room. Fantastic refurbished hotel interior. Cosy bar with log fire and wide choice of whiskies. Paula on reception couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.

Downgraded at check in to a road side small room, they said sorry but we will give you a discount and upgrade you on your second night. Noisy room and hotel. If you are a light sleeper I suggest not staying here as the hotel shakes when trucks drive by and the walls are paper thin. When we checked out...

I am baffled by many of the mediocre reviews of the Glencoe Inn. We had a great night here walking the West Highland Way. The newly refurbished room was excellent, comfortable bed, well appointed with tea/coffee facilities, toiletries in bathroom. Had a bath too which was great and not just a shower. Dinner was really excellent. Took the 3 course...

A very pleasant place right on the roadside driving up through Glencoe towards Fort William. It's by the side of the loch and our room did have a 'loch view' but out of a very tiny window! The room was very small but had all amenities - nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is in quite a smart dining...

Three of us stayed at this hotel in the springtime and when we were checking out we raised some service and housekeeping issues that had occurred during our 3 night stay. We asked for feedback forms but were advised that the hotel did not have these but the receptionist noted down all our concerns. After discussion with the manager she asked...

We arrived to this cosy hotel and we're located in an equally cosy room. A little on the small side but had everything we needed. Very bad storm on night 1 thought the roof was coming off! Food is OK and service was good most of the time a couple of issues with breakfast on day 1 but soon rectified....

We booked one night at the Glencoe Inn on route to Oban. The staff were so helpful - the receptionist even lent me her toothpaste as I'd forgotten mine! They had a great mix of dog friendly and normal rooms and were very warm towards both my husband and I and our hound. We couldn't recommend this place enough. The...

When we booked in to the room there was no hair dryer or toiletries as stated in the booklet about the hotel. I contacted the reception who arrived about an hour later with hair dryer and one bar of soap. At breakfast my husband asked for porridge. It was hard & lumpy, not at all like home made porridge. The...
