At the rear of the hotel is Copper fields restaurant which does excellent value meals and real ales, I had the rib eye steak which was excellent and only £10. The...

We loved this hotel it was very comfortable and the staff were very helpful. We had an evening meal with our son and daughter-in-law in the restaurant and the food was very good we all enjoyed the food. Parking is on the main roads but you are issued with a permit from the receptionist. Next time we visit Tynemouth we...

The service is amazing, if your traveling to the North East this is a must, the rooms are good the food and the service is amazing, but waking up to that view is second to none!! Close to the Tynemouth town centre, which in its self is a hidden away jewel !!

My sister and I treat my mum to afternoon prosseco tea at The Grand. We were taken into the dining room which was light and airy with fabulous views of Tynemouth Longsands and the sea. There was a choice of sandwiches and cakes served on a stand and tea and prosecco that came in a small bottle for you to...

I would most certainly recommend Afternoon Tea at the Grand Hotel in Tynemouth. The setting is just so lovely and with a good choice of sandwiches, scones and cakes to choose from, who could ask for more? We really couldn't finish all of the cakes because we were so full, and we were very kindly given a special box to...

We have just returned from a wonderful weekend away in Tyne-mouth. We stayed in the Grand Hotel, in a lovely sea view room. Hotel was brilliant, lovely and clean, newly decorated and refurbished, and staff very polite and helpful. It was our first visit, and we will definitely be going back. This was the view from our room.

A very grand dining room. Service was quite slow and it wasnt busy. Food was good and very plentiful, portions were big. We had a lovely evening. Pretty quiet atmosphere, good for a meal with a wide age range, something on the menu to suit all tastes.

Stayed a few nights with my family. Highly recommend staying in one of the rooms in Laurel House. Room service is of a very high standard. Only gripe about the hotel is that the staff serving breakfast look really unhappy!
