I stayed there for 6 nights in the Botanica build and it was perfect, in the middle of the woods, with a very comfortable room and an amazing restaurant for diner. Breakfast also pretty good, and perfect scrambled eggs and bacon!
I have nothing experience of a great hospitality like you are in Asia whilst visited hotels in the netherlands. What a great hospitality, service, room, foods.. we were a group of 5 women who really need to have our weekend get away which means we need to have relax, fun, foods, And talks... we got them all.. the hotel is clean, hospitality and service are top of the 5 stars hotel, foods were great, we had the jogging track which reconnected us with nature and locals, we played driving range and brought the girls a lot of fun, sauna and swimming relaxing our mind and body, and of course a lot of talks between us. And evwryone is satiafied and happy (believe me when I said this, they are not easy to be satisfied ;)). So thank you Ruwenberg
De Ruwenberg Hotel is a hidden gem, that is literally hidden at the top of a tree lined drive. The approach leads you to think that you are either going to be surprised, or disappointed. You most certainly are not disappointed. Surrounded by fountains that are constantly spraying their waters into pools of clear water small lakes each side of the hotel foyer approach. Inside does more to put you at rest for your stay. The room we had were quite large without being massive and cold. The bed’s, twin, were very comfortable and the view from the room was peaceful looking out onto trees, and very quiet. The booking in was very efficient, as were the staff. The food on offer for breakfast was extensive and very palatable. Would we stay there again? We are looking to book again for next year..…
This a nice hotel, clean, modern and with all relevant facilities. The serroudning area is very nice, rural and tranquil. A great location as well to have meetings for smaller or larger groups. Easy tio reach by car, a bit harder by public transport.
Great location, friendly staff, very large comfortable room, good food ( though limited choice) would certainly stay again However Warning to others. We arrived the day schools broke up and the hotel holds the prom evening. As a result chaotic to get into the hotel and we were queuing for over 30 minutes . In the end rang the hotel as we were very annoyed and a member of staff came out to direct us in another way , same for another guest in the queue. Also as a result dared not go out again and wanted to eat in restaurant but only 2 choices on the menu , one veggie and one meat neither of which we wanted. They agreed to make us a burger which is actually one of the best ever had! Staff trying to do their best in difficult circumstances and manager did speak to us personally and dealt with our problems very well. If not for above would have given 5 stars all round. Would certainly stay again but would check not prom night first!…
A nice relaxing place with gardens and walks. Breakfasts not bad with cold and warm buffet. Coffee was good. Very efficiënt staff specially with cleaning up tables. Rooms were clean and tidy. No coffee or tea facilities though. Lot of groups are put up here. It is a conference meeting center and well equipped. Some of world archery teams were put up here during our stay. Front desk staff were very helpful. A pity the fitness was located in another building. The sauna and swimming pool were in the main building which was nice. A nice stay when we attended Jazz in Duketown in Den Bosch. A 10 minute drive to the center.
An excellent hotel for meetings and conferences in the quaint countryside. Stayed there six days while attending our organization's 50th anniversary. Clean rooms and the staff is friendly and great. Meals and refreshments were a treat.
Attending an accelerated training course by company Firebrand. This is now the 4th time. The facilities at hotel De Ruwenberg are very good, staff are super friendly, meals are super, coffee service great. This is a review of the hotel only, not the training (although this is also great value for money). Facilities : pool, sauna, fitness, squash as well as a location in the middle of nowhere that will ensure that you are not distracted from the essential purpose of your stay : STUDYING. Can only recommend!
Not your average review for not your average place. The De Ruwenberg has been my Hotel of choice for the last 12 months. Is it the perfect romantic retreat? No Is it the ideal business hotel? Not really. Is it well located? Not exactly. Why then the 5 star rating I hear you say? I guess I have spent 20-25 nights at the place & have it has grown to be a second home. The ladies on reception are brilliant & always make me feel welcome recognising me as a returning guest. The pool was the attraction in the first instance & the leisure facilities are perfect for an end of the day relax. Food is not haute cuisine & couldn’t be regarded as cordon bleu but you aren’t going to starve. Perfectly acceptable breakfast & Bitteballen - what more do you need. Come April company offices will be moving so that will be the end of my stays at the De Ruwenberg, it will be a sad departure that last time.…
