Travelling solo I stayed here in October in a nice size room decorated and furnished in a traditional and tasteful style. My room had a view over the nearby hill towards the sea and the sunset in the evening. The ensuite had a bath with shower over which worked well with hot water a plenty and nice touches like the... This small hotel was like a home from home. Hosts Saskia and Vince were so welcoming. The hotel was small enough that people could get to know if each other if they wanted to, but because there were various relaxing seating areas you could have your own privacy if you wanted. This hotel really had 'something else' a truly chilled... More

Stayed in this wonderful B&B for a week recently and was so reluctant to leave. The hosts, Saskia and Vince were so welcoming and friendly, we felt as though we were old friends of theirs, not paying customers. Lots of lovely relaxing areas to have your own space or enjoy a drink in company. Rooms lovely, clean and comfortable.Food basic.... More

Cortijo Amaya is a gem at the top of a hill overlooking Torrox Costa. Very peaceful with several lovely seating areas in the gardens. The view is stunning and the hill breeze very welcome. The pool is wonderful, we honestly would have been happy not going to the beach at all! The rooms are so clean, authentically Spanish and have... More

The Costa del Sol is not noted for its peace and quiet but more for its lively mix of sunshine and night life. But, if you want that different combination of sunshine and simple, homely comfort you won't better the Hotel Cortijo Amaya. There you will find a simple bed and breakfast establishment which offers clean, comfortable rooms at reasonable... More

Stayed for two nights at this lovely bxb with my partner Fabi. Great place to chill and relax, the host was charming and very friendly. Just far enough away from the town for perfect quite evenings. We were there out of season so the pool was not open but in the summer this would be a great addition. I own... More

It's a great little hotel and the owners are warm and welcoming. The rooms are perfectly clean and the whole place feels well cared for by people who arev living their dream. The front patio is shaded by a huge ficus tree with a great view of the sea.

We really loved our visit at Cortijo Amaya. Saskia and Vince, the lovely hosts, make you really feel at home. The house is traditional Spanish with really good beds. All the amenities are definitely a big plus. The pool, tennis court, bar and lots of places to sit in the garden overlooking the beautiful coast of Torrox. Saskia and Vince... More

Cortijo Amaya is a wonderful place! Comforting as well as comfortable, for us it was an amazing treasure on a very long drive. The Cortijo is expertly run by friendly, welcoming owners who, while remaining professional and efficient, are relaxed enough to make you feel as if you are a part of their home.
