The hotel is in a convenient position, close to the sea and from the historical part of Sperlonga.
The management is familiar, very warm and pleasant.
The price is a little bit less then the surroundings and often it included dinner and beach place.
However...
My room was too small with a bed smaller than a standard double, a small bathroom, a small tv... the balcony is not physically separated from the of the other room but with a simple plant.
The dinner and breakfast were of average quality.
I may come back checking price and asking in advance for the room.

Nice hotel close to the beach. The owners are very friendly and helpful. When we asked for the way to a supermarket, we got the map for free. Also at the room free bottles of water, and a bottle of prosecco. Free parking space only for guests of the hotel. Next to the hotel are a lot of cats (nice if you like them, which I do). We had a good time, and hope to come again.

Sperlonga - fairytale world. hill-scale medieval town overlooking an epic bay of the Mediterranean Sea. Miles of narrow paths and stairs with ancient living houses and white walls leading to the fiesta-type squares full of restaurants and cafés.

We stayed in Grazia hotel on July 2013 for more than a week, this was a really exciting experience of excellent service, great location and infinite warm reception by attentive and kind owners Alfredo and his family.

Elegant Napolitano waiters including Alejandro and Genairo dressed in traditional costumes, bronzed and thin, full of dignity and pride offed us exquisite local dishes at the hotel restaurant . Modern interiors of the hotel - marked by first prize in hotels competition. sterile cleanliness.

Cozy rooms with balconies, Incredible reserved blue beach with fantastic transparent water even when there're are waives disturbing sea. Far mountainous islands seen from the beach make you feel like you're starring the shooting of Ancient Greek episode.
All this deserves one word - paradise.

We want to come back!!!!

just do not stay here, the room smelled like it had not be opened in months, towels stank as well and we found them on the floor, poorly folded. The room was not clean. The appeal of this hotel is that it offered wifi, in fact we paid for that service... surprise surprise wifi was down throughout our stay and hotel staff did not try to offer any alternative (in fact it seems they had internet at the reception...) The TV did not work either, the digital tv reception was nonexistent, you could barely get 2 channels and not all the time, when they saw the tv did not work, they could have offered to unlock sky (a paying service for guests), but of course it didn't even cross their mind. Staff were generally either unhelpful or pointless... a plea for fellow travellers:

STAY CLEAR FROM THIS PLACE!

A very warm and engaging hotel with charm and style by the sea. the access to the beach is great and the proximity to parking is not to far a way. We stayed on B&B which allowed us to Stroll into two and try the wide variety of culinary options available.

My husband and I have stayed numerous times at the hotel Grazie and have enjoyed
everything about this wonderful place. Alfredo and his family and staff have always been
gracious, helpful and welcoming!! The hotel itself is very beautiful and comfortable.
The food is excellent. The atmosphere in the hotel is very pleasant and the physical
building is well designed and beautifully kept up and cleaned. All of the staff have been taught to be accommodating and kind as well. We would never stay any place else on the coast of Italy and give it the very higher recommendation! We have recommended it to many friends in Rome who continue to go there.

The rooms are tiny. We struggled to move around the room and not bump into furniture or our 3 small suitcases. The bed is quite comfy, cleaning leaves a lot to be desired. As soon as we checked in we noticed that the toilet was smelly. During our quite lengthy stay the toilet bowl has never been bleached. We had to keep the bathroom door closed at all times as it was that disgusting.
The rooms had zero soundproofing and we could hear our neighbours talk. This can be a great problem if you travel as a couple or simply need some privacy. There's no 'do not disturb' sign to be put on the door handle and you can't opt out from housekeeping. On two occasions when we stayed up late we were woken up by a housekeeper barging in to our room.
The TV had about 5 channels all in Italian. I only managed to turn the telly on once and other times it wouldn't work. There was a sign that the room came with sky TV and there were two remotes next to the sign. No information on how to turn it on whatsoever. No hotel leaflets or information on additional services or how to make the safe work.
We had free wifi in the room because we booked the hotel via Experia. As the owner pointed out we would have to pay for it otherwise. The breakfast was pretty poor with low quality ham and cheese and only corn flakes for cereal but the coffee was great and Andrea who brought the coffee was always friendly.
We only booked this hotel and not an apartment because it said that the sunbeds were included in the stay. It turned out they weren't and the owner told us we had to pay €25 per couple per day to use the hotel sunbeds. Alternatively we could pay €35 a day for a lunch/dinner at the hotel and we would have sunbeds for free. He didn't give us a menu to see what we could get for that money but judging by the local prices that's way too expensive. And the hotel restaurant lacks any atmosphere and is in need of a renovation. As we stayed in the end of September you would expect that the owner would want to negotiate the sunbed prices. Not in this case. We managed to find sunbeds for as little as €7.50 per couple on the beach itself. And they were much closer to the hotel than Grazia's sunbeds. Someone mentioned it before that their sunbeds are a good 15 minute walk from the hotel. They are when you make your way through the beach. Also there're strips of free beach here and there along the Sperlonga coast so all you need is a beach towel.

There is someting wrong in what you are writing : First reason you would not come back is you still have to finish to pay your stay: You left the hotel without payng the city tax and other services you asked us. The morning of your check out , when I saw you in your car , i asked you if you are leaving , you replied you're going to the supermarket. Do you remember if you payed to the supermarket? You forget to pay me! Second reason is you CANNOT come back to this hotel because other guest complained about the noise from your balcony when you was drunk in the night! Third reason is you attempted to pay not the reservation: details of a first credit card you used to pay your Not Refundable -Advanced Booking ( pay in advance to pay less) were not valid . Furthermore I received a request of more information from the bank of your credit card because you asked them to invalidate that transaction . YOU ARE A NOT ACCEPTABLE GUEST For 9 days our maids cannot clean your room as you were sleeping all the morning all days( your nights are to drink, ok! The problem is not what or how much you drink , but what you do when became drunk!). When you checked out they spent 4 hours in your room to let it presentable for new guests! Beach: You are not correct . I asked you 25 Euro per 1 day or 75.00 per 9 days. For 1 umbrella and two sunbeds on an hotel exclusive reserved area. When I ask services, I know I have to pay for that!. When I ask an exclusive service I know I have to pay more! Beach is free when you have lunch or diner with us. A different Menu was every day on the desk in front of our guests even coming just to say " Hallo Alfredo" . When you wake up you run outside the hotel without a "Good morning, people!" TV :Your room has satellitar channels . All free , there is not pay tv . Why you didn't ask me about that? Do not disturb signal is when you lock the room . Ask next time! "No hotel leaflets or information on additional services or how to make the safe work" And what about me at the reception completely at your disposal? Ask people , next time! You booked by Expedia and you had free wifi . Is it a problem if you have an additional free service as an Expedia customer? Breakfast time usually is from 8.00 to 9.30 . When you arrive ( the first of you four!) at 11.30 you cannot protest Not you , not your friend !

Stayed at this hotel with a group of friends in September. The owner met us at the reception and gave us our keys. The room was tiny and the walls were apparently made of carton as you can hear every noise and conversation form the room next to you (so expect no privacy). The bathroom was very dated and damp with mould covering inside the walls. The cleaning lady never did a good job and the toilet smelled worse than at Victoria station even after cleaning. But the most annoying thing that you don't have "do not disturb" sign so you have to deal with very noisy maid banging on your door every morning. TV also only has Italian channels - the rest are paid ones. The breakfast was average at best so we only attended on couple occasions. Also this hotel has private beach but there's a catch - in order to use free sun loungers you have to book your dinner at the hotel which set you back at 35 euros pp. In fairness you can dine pretty much anywhere in Sperlonga for around 15 euros pp. This hotel not the most expensive one in the area but for the money you pay you can expect better service and cleaner rooms. I would never stay at this hotel again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Dear Sir . You were in the same room with another person that wouldn't stay again in this hotel . So, this is a double review . Same reply for the first review is valid for your one. Before protesting you should pay the bill. You forgit to pay , for example, your City Tax. Why you leaved the hotel telling me you are going to the supermarket? Are you still in the supermarket? Walls are quite good. It was you and your friends in the room side by side screaming in and outside the room. Other guests had to protest against your noises on hotel balconies and stairs! Bathroom is new , renewed. Cleaning ladies cannot enter to clean your two rooms, because you were asleep all the morning . They finish theyr working time but you were still in the room . They asked you to let them enter the room to clean, you said not! It seemed you are used to live in Victoria Station. Just ask things when you don't know: Your tv has satellitar channels , there is no Pay tv in the hotel ; You have just to lock the door of the room and the maid can see the signal; Breakfast was at best in averadge ? At 11.00. !!!! Try our breakfast during right time , from 8.00 to 9.30/10.00 About money and the right value please read my other reply . Sorry , but the same is about the idea you come back in my hotel.

My experience of accommodations by the Galli family has been superb in all areas. My own family ran a hotel in New England in the USA and I know how difficult it is to achieve the standards the Galli family does - and does it with grace.

The location is excellent - only a very few steps and there is the sea, very quiet area, near all I want from a seaside holiday. If climbing is your thing then surely this family run hotel is topmost in Sperlonga due to Giuseppe Galli's extensive knowledge of the area.

I can advise you to stay here with confidence.

We stayed at the Grazia just before the summer season got going so we almost had the place to ourselves (there was 5 of us in 3 rooms). The rooms were good, the breakfast was fine and the staff were very friendly & helpful. It was a very short walk to the wonderful beaches and only a few more minutes to the town centre.

As the restaurant wasn't open at dinner time (presumably because of the season) we walked for a little while towards the town - at one of the first places we had Calzone Versuviana. This is a must for any visits - excellent meal and not one of ever ate it all. Shame we didn't think to take a photo or get the restaurant name - Sorry!
