Lovely little lodgings with great staff. Spotlessly clean with great beds and a great shower. Tea and coffee facilities available in the room. Possibly a little overpriced but that's what happens when you have very little competition. Still recommend The Lord Edward if you are stopping in Kildare.

Lord Edward is a simple clean place to stay. Being a complex with a pub, fine restaurant and sleeping rooms makes it a very nice place to stay. Beata met us up front could not do enough for us. All the staff was helpful. I highly recommend Lord Edward.

As most reviewers noted, Beata was very helpful and accommodating. The room was meticulous and the beds very comfortable. We weren't too happy w/our first room due to size and Beata immediately placed us in a larger room when it became available. The staff at the pub was also very helpful, friendly and accommodating. There are just a few attractions...

We stayed for one night during the Kildare Village extra 20% off sale and really loved our stay. Beata was so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us! She is a real bonus to the Lord Edward. The room we got was at the back and lovely and quiet. It was spotless and had a huge bed and lovely walk...

Stayed in the Lord Edward for one night. The room was spotless and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was served over in the bar and it was very good. Plenty on the menu to choose from. There is a car park at the Lord Edward which is a great help. I would recommend this place to anyone...

Stopped here for one night while traveling around Ireland. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only slight problem was that check-in/check-out was in the pub so had to wait a little while for service. But definitely worth the wait!

Excellent value for money. Rooms basic but spotless. Ate in the restaurant and food was excellent. Entertainment in lils bar was a lovely end to evening. Beata welcomed us personally and showed us to our rooms. In fact all staff were welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended. Kildare outlet village walking distance.

This hotel is associated with a very nice pub/restaurant, and also with a night club. The room we got was enormous and really beautiful. It must have originally been a living room or ball room in the old "castle". Tall ceilings, three beds (two twin and a queen, antique wardrobes, and an up-to-date luxury bathroom. Very good value for money...
