Charming from the outside, and offering off-street parking, this place LOOKS inviting. But our room was so shoddy and charmless, with no places to put your toilet kit in the bathroom (one plus is that there was an actual tub in there), no hooks to hang a towel or a jacket. I could hardly wait to get out of there....

One of the oldest hotel and restaurant in town. Famous for its cassoulet. Rooms are clean and properly decorated. They are air conditioned, which is a great plus in that region. Restaurant is probably the best quality over price in town. Don't forget to buy a can of home-made cassoulet and its cooking dish as a souvenir.

We arrived in Castlenaudry at about 7pm on a Thursday in October and had hoped to find a Chambre d'hote, but had really arrived too late, so we found this hotel after going to one which was full. We were just pleased to be able to get a bed for the night. The lady on reception was very helpful. The...

I really wanted to like this hotel as i try to favour independent hotels over soulless chain motels, but the hotel is dirty, our room smells, the air con only works intermittently, there is no lift and the staff are completely indifferent to the hotel guests. the free wifi is not secure and service limited. The hotel's main business is...

The Hotel has a garage, which is a real plus when traveling with lots of luggage on board. It is easily found and has a great restaurant specialising in the local dish 'cassoulet.' The rooms are basic but clean and servicable - don't come her to experience luxury (or air-con) but do visit for friendly welcomeing staff and gret local...

Having just given two really good reviews for Logis hotels in other regions, I reckon that Logis have a problem in securing 'standards' across the hotels that are part of the Logis network. I could endure the small, plain, worn out room, but hotels are to sleep in. The pillows were small and mean and the pillowcases were at least...

Stayed for one night in a dated bedroom with a bathroom and toilet installed pre Second World War. No hair dryer, the bath(there was no shower curtain) was worn and marked and the plug when fitted let almost as much water out as flowed in. Lots of hot water though and soft toilet tissue. Very small tv and wifi seemed...

We stayed at the Hotel de France as the Ibis budget was fully booked. Very easy to find, with secure parking attached. The room, as the rest of the hotel, looked a little tired but was clean and functional. The shower is 'over bath' and lacks a shower curtain or the chance to change its height resulting in water everywhere...

Disappointed at having driven some way from Peret to Castelnaudary for lunch at Le Tirou only to find it closed, we decided to make the best of it. A walk around a lovely town, a few drinks to gather our thoughts in the town square then down to the task of finding some lovely food. Hotel de France was nondescript...
