We knew the hotel has a 4 star rating and we stayed for 2 reasons: the swimming pool and a bathtub. The swimming pool is great and very, very clean. In fact the whole hotel and our room were extremely clean. It shows that the staff are well-trained, our check-in lady was English fluent and very polished. Breakfast was making a valiant attempt to be pro-Western and they even had multigrain bread and filter coffee. There was certainly a lot of variety. One very pleasant aspect is the huge lobby area with comfortable seating. There is a good coffee shop and you can enjoy your coffee in the lobby. Another feature is the fact that it's part of a shopping mall with lots of food choices and a food court. as well as banks, a supermarket and a department store. The room and bathroom are good and well laid out, In our 10th floor room we had no real view and it was a little musty at first, maybe it hadn't been occupied for a while because of Covid19. The Wi-Fi is good but it keeps wanting you to log in if you don't use it for a while. My rating is 4.5 stars but I'll be kind and give it a 5 despite the small imperfections.

Stayed at this hotel at least 10 times over the last 5 years, it is getting worse and more expensive everytime I stay. The last time I stayed the price was 50% more at the desk than on agoda. We were charged for breakfast for a restaurant that was closed, I asked for a refund for the cost of breakfast and was ignored by staff. The room was dirty and overpriced, we will stay elsewhere from now on.

My wife and stay there over the past weekend, we decided to book the Royal Suite as it was our first anniversary. We were expecting a little bit of luxury being a Royal Suite. We were sadly disappointed, all it is really is a larger room, no carpet on floor, very small refrigerator and not even a mini bar in a Royal Suite, poor internet reception and the windows were absolutely dirty. The furniture is nothing special just normal room chairs. I went down to the lobby and decided to have a beer at the small bar, I ordered 1 beer, after waiting 15 minutes for 1 bottle of of beer to arrive I just walked out and I was the only person there so its not as if the staff were busy, terrible service. Breakfast is available on the 1 st floor, it is mostly catered for Thai's and not catered for western people, with only orange juice available in the juice section. This was our 3rd stay there however we just booked a standard room before, we will not be staying there again at that hotel, as for the cost of a Royal Suite it is totally not worth the extra.

We had booked 10 days in hotel.....maybe location is good but the hotel staff attitude is very bad and not cooperative and unwelcoming. we had taken extra towel for a child for 2 days and had informed reception child will stay only 2 days....but we were charged for 7 days 100 baht per day....ie 700 baht. (better to buy new towel) Reception insisted paying full amount at checkout. Secondly, their airconditioner controler did not work. you get chilling cold at all the time and cant change temerature. 2 times service was called but did not fix the problem and also our room was not changed even though deluxe rooms were vacant. Please do NOT stay in this hotel. there are many better hotels in Ubon. Their restaurant is over priced and charge additional 20% tax on bill. Breakfast is ok.
