I stayed at a different resort in Kizimkasi but I frequently went to the Promised land for sunset drinks and dinners. The set up is the best in my opinion in Kizimkasi. The bar is right on the cliff with amazing unobstructed sunset views. You can have a drink with your partner or friend and enjoy the sunset view without...

The experience was OK. The room had amazing views, but none the lights of the terrace worked. Also the room in the bathroom as well as in the all the hostel was very limited, which in the night was not pleasant at all. The service was very slow, and it was not easy to communicate with them if something was...

We arrived here after a not so relaxing 2 days in Stone Town and it was just what we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and its location is unlike anything I imagined. It is very remote, so nipping out to the shop or for a drink elsewhere isn't really an option, so bear that in mind! Food is...

Its a very relaxed, friendly place and all the staff are welcoming, happy and helpful. Sea views are fantastic and the outside/bar area/pool etc are uncrowded so you dont have to be bothered if you dont want to, but there is the chance to chat if you are feeling sociable. There is wifi at the bar and non stop reggae...

I wanted somewhere beautiful to chill out. This place was perfect. The setting is beautiful with spectacular views. Accommodation is clean, comfortable and best of all authentic. The beach bar, pool and array of beach furniture - loungers, swinging chairs, hammocks all lend themselves to relaxing by a stunning expanse of beautiful blue ocean. The menu is limited but everything...

Down to earth, comfortable and relaxed. I missed this place from the moment our taxi pulled out of the property. Some of the best food we had on the Island came out of their kitchen. Staff are all lovely and the owner has a very hands on approach. They really do make you feel like family. Yes the shower is...

This was our favorite spot in Zanzibar. We stayed for 3 nights as soon as we landed on the island and it was idyllic. The place, the bungalows, the staff, the vibe, the food. It's rustic, and real, and just a really brilliant relaxed, casual, chilled out place to be. Very highly recommended if you wanna keep it real and...

After doing the north Tanzania safari circuit we came to Zanzibar to relax and recharge. We heard good things of Promised Land and the dolphin tour and it was even better than expected. The rooms are bungalow style with thatched roofs, large wooden beds and a serviceable bathroom. Each one has a small veranda and chill area. No aircon in...

It's a great place to stay if you just need to few days of doing NOTHING Of course you can do snorkeling, diving and some other things, but you can also just stay around the place and chill on their sun-chairs or hammocks - and they're building a pool for the people who don't like the stones and algae and...
