Even in winter ate fresh fruit grown on property for breakfast, friendly and welcoming owner, warm house and good distance up Coromandel Peninsula to start driving trip. A chance to see New Zealand at home as well as see beautiful nature and geography.

We loved the location--3 k's to the town and next door to bush walks. Our room was immaculate---could not have been more pleased. Breakfast was glorious--fresh squeezed juice, homemade breads and jam, homemade museli and yougurt and fresh farm eggs.

Had a lovely 2 night stay at this cosy & friendly B&B. Hosts were very welcoming & it is in a beautiful location, set back from the road, amongst paddocks & gardens. Easy to find & just a short drive into lovely Coromandel Town. We stayed in the garden room which has an ensuite & is nice & cosy. It...

Jacaranda Lodge is perfectly situated out of Coromandel Town just off the main road with lovely views from of all the bedrooms. The new owners Brendan and Judy have only been there for 6 months but you would never guess as everything is just perfect. We stayed at Jacaranda for our last 3 nights in New Zealand, and could not have chosen better. Judy and Gerard are superb hosts. In joining the guests for a wonderful breakfast, (mostly home grown and/or made), they started our day with laughter, information and friendship. Jacaranda is clean, interesting and hospitable. Thoroughly recommended.

They made us feel like home. Other guests were friendly and it's fun sharing the table in the morning for breakfast. The place itself is peaceful...

Judy and Gerard have recently taken over Jacaranda. They are friendly and efficient. Jacaranda is a beautiful house, with two good public rooms. We stayed in the blue room, a good room with en suite bathroom.

By all accounts Jacaranda Lodge has always been highly rated. It nestles at the foot of hills just outside Coromandel, and has attractive gardens. providing a natural habitat for animals, birds, trees and plants. There are also 2 donkeys! However, there can be no doubt that new owners Judy and Gerard, who have been there for only 4 months, are...
