Although a small room this place was perfect for us. My partner and I spent 2 nights here and loved it! The cute little cottage suited us perfectly and was nicely situated in town. Being able to park next to your room as well was great. Would stay here again!

This place looked really from nice and reviews sounded good but I was unimpressed with their backpacker section. The room I was in was so hot with only one small window to open. It was also being used by some guests as well as staff which I found weird. As they lived here they took over communal areas and were...

My family and I stayed for 1 night in December and enjoyed our stay. The rooms are modern, recently upgraded I believe. The beds were a little hard and the pillows were a bit tricky - 1 wasnt enough but 2 was too high. Other than this, the room was spacious, fully equipped, clean and in a great location. A...

My family of 5 and I were warmly greeted when we arrived and the receptionist, Chuck, was quick to get a hairdryer when he noticed there were three females in the group. The room is large and clean with his and hers sinks and a jacuzzi tub! There is also a nice outdoor seating area where we had our dinner....

Anchor Lodge Motel was a good choice to stay the night when visiting Coromandel Town. I was very impressed with the manner and service when I rang to make a booking. The unit didn't disappoint. It was spacious, well appointed, comfy bed and a great spa bath. The outdoor seating/dining area was relatively private and a bonus. Probably a little...

We stayed at the backpackers part of this hotel, the kitchen and bathrooms were really clean (they seem to be thoroughly cleaned each day). We stayed in a private double room, it was quite small but it had a TV and you could borrow DVDs from reception. It also had a nice pool (which was 30 degrees celsius) and spa....

Good location , close to town. Clean comfortable units. We had cabin on the hill which was a pain to lug all the bags up to on narrow wooden stairs. Next time we would get downstairs as there is no view to speak of. Room was fairly dark as it is tucked into the hillside bush. Lovely to watch the...

Stayed here for 2 nights, probably a tad overpriced but that maybe due to the fact it was a long weekend. The room was small but cosy, it appeared to be reasonably new as well. Friendly service, check-in and check-out was a breeze. Short walk into the Coromandel township.

We arrived late in the day so there weren't many options left for us so the room was very pricey even though the manager gave us a good rate. In saying that our room was glorious and spacious. The bathroom was huge and we appreciated the huge deck at the front of our unit. It was such a tranquil place...
