The Mountain Hostel is close to the university area of town, which is very dynamic. Lots of restaurants, bars, and people watching. The hostel was clean and quiet and staffed 24 hours a day. The staff was very helpful. It is close to the airport, and bus station

This hostel is well located near the zona rosa on the top if the city. Breakfast are really good and tasty and the rooms are cleaned every day. It is a good adress in Manizales as the hostel is in a safe area.

We have stayed in this hostel for one night with my family and friends. We had 2 rooms, one with 2 double beds on the second floor and another room with one double bed in the basement. Both rooms had private bathrooms. Everything looked new and very nice. There are also 2 living rooms, kitchen where we had our breakfast...

This hostel was ok but nothing special. The stuff is helpful. But the rooms aren't somthing special. The sheets were stinky and not really clean. I would't go there anymore. But the breakfast was quite ok.

I would have like to give the place a 4/5 ratings, but unluckily I arrived there during a time of very loud building noise (they were constructing a new building in their garden) and some guitar playing/singing hardcore backpackers that wouldnt stop until midnight. Further complaint was the very dirty bed cover in the individual room I had. the good:...

Sometimes, as a traveler of a certain age, I hesitate to stay in hostels but in this lovely place my fears we're unfounded. I was greeted warmly at the entrance. The room with it's queen size bed was basic but extremely comfortable. The bathroom is small with a fantastic shower; high pressure and plenty of hot water. It is a...

They didn't receive us with a big smile. There was only one lady at the reception that was really friendly and helped us for our trips.. Room was small, not so clean. Same with the bathroom. They have a nice garden but nobody is in there and uses it. At 10 pm the lights go out, they close the door...

We stayed for three nights but it was in a separate building a minute down the street. The hostel is old and needs a makeover. The kitchen bad and it wsd difficult to cook anything that could not be boiled as there was no utensils and the over didn't work. The room we stayed in was old and the window...

Would definitely recommend: soft beds, (mostly) hot shower, everything is Well-mantained. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast is good; five choices and lots more you can add. PlayStation and foosball table in the living room. Every day your room is cleaned by the hotel staff. Nice neighborhood, too. Very close to nice restaurants et cetera.

This place is filthy. My bed was full of fleas. I couldn't sleep at all due to the midges. The building is dark and run down. Breakfast service started 40 minutes later than it was supposed to. The bathroom was really dirty.
