Extremely poor experience for me and my family. Despite the great location - amazing Guarajuba beach, the hotel is in a terrible condition, with NO maintenance, no staff, and I felt misled by the 5* and the great experience I've had in 2008, 2009 and 2010. You can see the pictures. Broken AC in the room, lot of broken facilities...

A very poor experience for my entire family. The staff was very unfriendly, I have never seen that before in a hotel, especially in a 5-star hotel. There was no comfort, such as pick up of luggage. Moreover, the hamock was missing, the safe not closing the air conditioning leaking, the cards for the room not working etc. and it...

Hotel location is great, very clean beach and no rocks. The gardens are well maintained and a large number of employees in premises. Lots of food and drink options all day long. At time of booking we had ordered two rooms, one for the couple and one for our two children, at check in we were given 2 bedrooms with...

Our initial contatct was pretty bad. The check-in is after 3pm and we got there 11am ant the reception was crowded. At 3pm a HUGE line forms to get the keys to the room. We were attended almost at 4pm and our room wasnt ready! There is no air conditioning in the lobby and we had a hard time. After...

First of all let me be honest and say that I am not a busy, big, noisy resort kind of guy. I went there on a family trip, with my heart open and had a poor time. The room was good, comfortable and with a nice view. The pool looked good but was always super crowed and I had to...

The first thing noticed is the amazing bungalows all over the hotel, separated by eater or grass. A very big pool area for adults and kids. The beach area is just perfect. the ALL INC system makes it all very easy for everyone and the food is good and there is a lot variety to choose from. If I had...

I was with my wife and kids for Xmas. No regrets! The hotel has a very fine infrastructure, the pool is great for kids, if you go surfing the beach is just downstairs by the pool. The only thing that is not 100% is the food, maybe for this amount of people (about 1,000 in Xmas week) they didn't have...

Very nice resort, with good accomodations and overall infrastructure. The pool is it's highlight. The food (which is available almost 24/7!) is good, but not amazing. Except for the Acarajé! Make sure you try that! They have a staff of animators that is always around with different activities, even when you don't want or need them... But inspite of that...

I've never been to a Vila Gales Resort, I've been to many other cabins but never this Portuguese owned. It was a wonderful experience. My husband and I loved the food. The ambience was mostly family, lots of children but not too overwhelming, well behaved. The service was friendly and I loved the theme of the resort very jungle villa....

The worst vacation ever! Service? Terrible! When we arrived, after checking in, nobody showed us the room and it was difficult to find it. We were told we had to book a bangalo because we had 2 children, but the accommodation was below average. Children complained it was very hard mattress. The food was horrible. One night , in one...
