We stayed a week and found that the resort was a great value. Service was excellent and if you ever go make sure you see Junius, the best bartender ever! He'll never forget me because I don't drink and I have never spent that much...More
Our experience at Coconut Bay was just about what might have been expected if you keep in mind that you get what you pay for. The food at the resort was okay. The included house wine was not drinkable. We love great food and wine...More

Jenny, we were there in July and the seaweed was pretty bad but they work very hard to alleviate the problem. They offer a shuttle to the Caribbean side of the island twice a day and someone from the resort stays at that location the whole time you are there. That beach is really nice. It is about a 20 minute ride and it is safe. You can book all dinners through the front desk and they have another desk for booking trips also located in the lobby. Cbay, as they call it, is very accommodating they work very hard to make everyone's trip the best it can be. You will be about 30 minutes from Soufriere where the pitons and waterfalls are located.
The resort does still have the entertainment but they have it next to the main pool on stage with the dinner buffet. Coconut Bay is an older resort and we have stayed at many newer places in the Caribbean but none compared to the efforts that Cbay puts forth to make your stay more enjoyable. Your kids will enjoy the activities set up by the resort, they are very family oriented and fun. We miss Coconut Bay very much. You will have a great vacation there. Enjoy
