Stayed at the Red Cap Motel twice recently, and both times were very positive experiences. Our room (Number 9) was large with two extremely comfy queen beds. It appeared to have been recently renovated - nice laminate floors, so much cleaner that carpet! And the bathroom was also freshly updated and included toiletries such as shampoo and soap. The room's...

We booked some time ahead, without much idea of what to expect, and not finding much choice in the area. A warm welcome was a good start, and our room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The adjacent restaurant (separate review) was a big plus.

Stayed here (4) nights while attending a family reunion in Pubnico - the rooms were well appointed, comfortable and clean. The restaurant was friendly with great food and service and accommodated the schedule of the large family reunion. The restaurant features paintings by local artists. A wonderful village to visit!

The restaurant served excellent food and most of all the staff was very polite, friendly and helpful. Had the fresh halibut for supper one night with local Acadian white wine and very reasonable prices. Nice...

Pubnico was a great choice we stayed and ate at the Redcap. The staff is friendly and the food was great. We truly enjoyed the beautiful town-walking on the beach and the wind fields were magnificent -we toured the entire coast from Halifax through every small town, around Yarmouth and back up the other side -Pubnico is worth a stop

This motel is attached to the Red Cap Restaurant, which I gave a 4 rating. Our room was decent enough in size, cleanliness and comfort. However, the window lock was broken off, making it impossible to secure the window (at ground level) , the bath towels were paper thin, and the small TV was an old cathode ray. It was...

Love this place to stay when I'm in the area. The rooms are clean, cozy and modern. Flat screen TV, mini fridge, and really nice large bathrooms. Comfy beds and an amazing view out the window! The motel owner - Helen - is a wonderful lady who will bend over backwards to accommodate. For example, my group of coworkers needed...
