This was an organised trip and the hotel was wisely used as a boot hole. The food was hot and homely with good choices. Local entertainment in the evenings made it a fun place to be. Though there is a pub to go to if you wish to go out for a walk. A small village with a beautiful old...

The entire staff here are quite amazing. On arrival the reception was fully prepared for a large coach party with preallocated rooms, keys ready and staff available to assist with cases as required. Coach to room was quicker than many hotels booking in procedure. Similarly in the dining area waiting staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. Nothing is too much...

This is an old hotel desperately in need of a makeover. We went there as part of Newmarket Holidays package tour. The buffet breakfasts were excellent but evening meals were the exact opposite: the dining room is very industrial with about 100 tables arranged in a grid pattern. The largely east european staff were generally very friendly but patrolled like...

Firstly the staff at this hotel are very pleasant and friendly. The rooms are somewhat dated as this is an old building. However they are clean and functional. We stayed for four nights on an organized trip and the restaurant provides a menu choice for evening meal. You can partake of a different menu choice in another part of the...

We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights while on a recent bus tour of Britian / Scotland . I absolutely loved this hotel. The staff where fantastic and the bed was the comfiest I had slept in while on my tour. The room had everything I needed as I was only there to sleep. The surrounding area is beautiful....

This hotel is one of the poorest we have used in many years. The first room was so noisy we asked to be moved and the 2nd room was much better but both rooms were not cleaned properly. The breakfast was o/k but the evening meals brought back memories of the worst examples of school dinners fifty years ago. The...

Being unwilling to pay inflated Aviemore lunch prices we travelled on to Carrbridge, the varied lunch menu in the Carrbridge hotel was reasonably priced, the food was first class, service was quick and pleasant, would certainly return.

We used this hotel as an "over nighter" whilst visiting the Highland Wildlife Park & Landmark over 2 days. They were nice enough to sort out a couple of family rooms for us at short notice (4 adults & 2 8 year olds) - the rooms were perfect for what we wanted them for & the kids love the bunk...
