I recently stayed for 5 nights at the Crown hotel on business, I was greeted warmly and checked in very swiftly. The room - Good size although quite dark and lights were needed throughout the day. The floor could have been cleaner and looked tired in places, TV was next to useless, limited channels and occasionally only in black and...

Visited here again for a birthday lunch. The food was superb and the staff, as ever, were very attentive. There were four of us in the group, we had drinks in the bar fisrt and then wondered through to the restaurant for a very relaxed and unrushed lunch, we ate from the a la carte menu (the steak was magnificent)....

Nice hotel but nothing spectacular. Paid extra to stay in the executive suite, got a call the day before to say they had maintenance issues with the room and moved us to room 1. A nice room but looking a bit dated nice bath though. Do not book this room if you want peace and quiet, it is above the...

I was in the area for business and my coworkers booked this hotel. It's a cute hotel with very friendly service. The rooms felt a little dated and the mattress is firm but overall it was a decent hotel. Be sure to park in the back as the front parking lot is a paid public lot.

Beds like lying on a sofa, hard and uncomfortable. Pillows seen better days, no support at all. Room was hot and stuffy and couldn't leave the window open cos of the road noise. Staff and restaurant food are fantastic! They should put as much effort into the hotel side of the business! Won't be back due to uncomfortable beds/room.

Although we live close by to The Crown Hotel we always love calling in for drinks and dinner. The interior of the hotel is a blend of modern and traditional,a fabulous contrast. The restaurant is nice and spacious and serves excellent fayre. The only criticism is the wine list, not a great choice if you are a rosé drinker!

My husband and I had an overnight stay here over the bank holiday weekend to enjoy a night out in Bawtry. The room we had was very 'tired' and in need of an overhaul. Not a very spacious room and I ended up with bruises on my legs from keep walking into the solid wood bedframe. The matress was very...
