I recently stayed at Park Farm House with my sister and a couple of friends. This b & b has been a highlight of our trip. John and Marjorie were so welcoming even though we arrived quite late. A most beautiful, cozy English home. The breakfast was amazing and they couldn't do enough to help us. I would highly recommend...

We have stayed at Park Farm House twice this year and each time we have had a lovely time. The house is spotless, the accommodation is comfortable and the hosts go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The breakfast was really excellent. I could not recommend this place highly enough.

We spent five weeks touring England, Scotland and Wales, and this was the best B&B experience of our entire trip. John and Marjorie Grattan made us feel at home and very welcome. We had some car trouble, and they went WAY out of their way to help us solve the problem so we could get on with the rest of...

My mother and I stayed for two nights before a family wedding at the end of May 2014. The twin room with ensuite was spacious. The breakfast was delicious. The house and gardens beautiful. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. The best place we have ever stopped at and will be using again as does many looking in the visitors...

My girlfriend and I recently stayed with John and Marjorie at Park Farm House for four nights, and I do not think there is a more pleasant B&B experience in all of England. The room we stayed in was on the top floor with the full bed. It was a clean, cozy room with a comfortable bed (very soft). The...

If you are looking for the classic English B&B, this is it. You are really made to feel welcome in this large old family house, while at the same time you have privacy. Spotlessly clean and comfortable.

We still remember inquiring about Park Farm House in Shepton Mallet. John Gratton wrote to us via E-mail and did the booking w/o taking any advance deposit and told us he trusts our word and no need to spend any money calling long distance. One of the very rare places where there are no advance deposits or cancellation fees and...

We had a lovely stay at Park Farm House, and the hosts, Marjorie and John are very friendly and helpful, and made us feel at home. When we first arrived, they brought us a very welcome cup of tea and toasted tea cake. The house is lovely, and the bedroom we stayed in is very roomy, and comfortable, with a...

“We stayed on the very top floor. Although the stairs were a little steep, once we were up there, we had the whole floor to ourselves - bedroom, bathroom and sitting room. Very comfortable.”
