I really enjoyed staying at Irene's B&B. Full of her own artwork and wonderful found objects, a short bike ride from Minsmere and with a generous continental breakfast. We staying in a double room and had our own (separate) bathroom with good shower and large bath. The latter came in handy to soothe aching muscles after walking and cycling. The...

The B&B is in a lovely little village (Westleton) with two nice pubs and the perfect distance from RSPB Minsmere, Westleton Heath and other nice places to walk, cycle or visit. Moorside was spotless, with light airy rooms, a very comfortable bed and a very welcoming hostess. The owner does not provide cooked breakfasts but that wasn't a problem for...

I have just returned from a 40 miles walking holiday along the Suffolk coast with my son. Our first nights rest was at Moorside Lodge. The house has a "japanese" policy of zero shoes indoors, so im sure Irene wasnt happy to see us 2 walking up her driveway in very muddy hiking boots, but the greeting from herself and...

We needed a place to stay out of season and at short notice for a couple of nights and Moorside Lodge did not disappoint. Immaculate in presentation, nice large en suite room (not sure how many of these), friendly owner and reasonable room-rate for area. Shoes off in the hall (slippers only upstairs), continental style breakfast (lots of fruit) (no...

We can't understand the comments of one of the reviewers. We had a lovely time here with Irene and Sep, The most welcoming landlady ever!! Nothing too much trouble. We even stayed Half an hour over checkout time, watching England playing Rugby!! We would recommend Moorside Lodge without hesitation. Would definately stay here if back in the area.

Having been turned away from other Hotels due to biker gear, really pleased to find somewhere bikers were accepted. Irene made us very welcome, booked us a meal at a local pub and provided a lovely healthy breakfast of fresh fruit, toast, creials with all extras. Off road parking for 4 bikes. Would not hesitate to go again if we...

Marileen and Henning Bosse from Bremen, Germany say: We will never understand the first and very bad review below. We came through Westleton on our holiday and looked for a B&B. We were actually recommended to go to Moorside Lodge by someone in the village. Irene, the owner of the B&B, welcomed us with a very warm smile when we...
