We're here for a week on half board with our two young children and my wife's parents. Excellent facitities, the hotel is spacious but cosy, super friendly staff, and the food is excellent. We've hired a beach hut for the week so as to save ourselves carrying our beach gear every day. We're staying in a junior suite with two...

Always like to come here when coming to Texel. Great terrace, nice restaurant and wonderful breakfast buffet. They offer you great services and advices. This hotel is good for family therefore pay attention as the pool might be busy at some hours. (Pictures taken from our room except beach cabins..)

It offers a lot of activities that can be good in the unpredictable weather of Holland. Among these a nice indoor swimming pool and a play area for kids, sauna and treatments. The breakfast is very good and with wide choice of tasty bread, all basics and some local delights. Rooms are light, large, well equipped and with extremely comfortable...

Texel was recommended to us as a 'must visit' place whilst in Holland for a working holiday . We were upgraded to a large room overlooking the dunes and also received some Cava as they knew it was our anniversary. The hotel is spacious with a pleasant outside drinks terrace and only a 5 minute walk from the beach. They...

We had a room overlooking the dunes which was wonderful. We could watch the rabbits and pheasants from our window. Even better, we could leisurely walk over the dunes to the beach or we could walk in the other direction and be in the heart of the village (de Koog) in just a few minutes where several restaurants and shops...

We stayed a long weekend at Opduin. The location of the hotel, surrounded by dunes, is really beautifull. At our stay they were busy renovaties the hotel step by step. They did it in a way it didn't influence the hotelguests which was a great archievement. Our room was good (not renovated yet), very clean with a good bed. The...

Ideal location to spend an Easter weekend with family and friends. Hotel is located close to dunes and beach. A la carte menu in the restaurant has some decent local dishes on it, although set easter menu could use some flavour. Rooms are excellent, what is to be expected in this price class. Main asset is the staff, that proved...

This nice hotel is especially interesting as it is located just next to the dunes behind which the beach is located. The hotel is convenient, please ask for a room overlooking the dunes rather than the parking lot. Rooms are not particularly luxurious but beds are fine. One funny thing is the "door" of the shower which moves apparently the...

Never any fuss wether change of menu selection , extra coffee or kids meals, staff went out of their way. Big compliment and hope renovations will be finished soon. We will...

My girlfriend surprised me with a trip to Texel for our anniversary and this was where we stayed. The location is great, you can see the sea from the top floor and it's just a short walk through some nice sand dunes to get there. Texel isn't a huge island so you're set to get to any part of it...
