When I made a reservation for this hotel, I thought: it could be nice ...but when I arrived to the Landgoed Duin & Kruidberg the reality was better than the expectations!! this beautiful country manor is located in the National park Zuid Kennemerland, overlooking a lovely pond, surrounded by a beautiful bucolic landscape. We stayed in the old building and...

Plus point: Location is great for hiking, bicycling! A very nice lounge bar on the outside on the ground floor when sun is shining! Min point: Do not trust the picture on the website, it is not the room you are getting! We booked a superior room "with garden view" for 200 euro a night. View is great if you...

We chose Landgoed Duin and Kruidberg for a birthday celebration during a very short stay in Holland. The ambience of the place far exceeded our expectations and our meal in the Restaurnant "Vrienden van Jacob" was great. Very good attention to detail with the staff explaining the wine food combination in a very good English. When back in Holland we...

Just to get it right - this hotel has a wonderful ambience, a wonderful setting next to a national park (rent a bike), but the room that was offered to us was not worth the money. Offered as a "superior room" for a superior price it do not match my expectations. During the last 40 year of traveling I never...

We arrived at this hotel expecting to be in the main house as that is what you see when looking at the photos of the place. I obviously did not do sufficient ' homework ' beforehand as we were later told that most of the rooms are in a new wing. The rooms are so far away from the reception...

I visited this hotel for a conference. My experience staying there for the 3 days was excellent to say the least. I was literally sought out by the staff on day 1, advising that they had catered for my dietary requirements and promptly brought on my special meal - I didn't have to ask once. Dinner was the same -...

We stayed here on a family vacation and loved it. The access to the National Park and dunes gives a feeling of spaciousness that you rarely experience in Holland. It is handy to Amsterdam, Haarlem, and mass transportation. But, the most wonderful part of this lovely property is the historic home (the lobby and public spaces) AND the wonderful Michelin-star...
