Used for a business trip and found it a great hotel. Free ample parking, friendly and helpful staff with a reasonably good restaurant for evening meal and continental breakfast. Beds really comfy, rooms air con'd, free wifi, extremely quiet, whole place tidy and clean. Even a McDonalds next door or a short trip to Haarlem itself. Only slight downside as...

Easy to reach if you are travelling by car, 30-40 mins by public transport from Amsterdam Centraal! P+R places can be found in the area and are a comfortable way to get to...

We were a little dubious as it was the only hotel with availability....not always a good sign....however we were not disappointed. Room was good...beds comfortable, staff very helpful and accommodating and breakfast was very good. Location and...

We spent a week at this hotel while visiting relatives of my wife in Santpoort-Noord, and we are overall satisied with the experience. It's not a luxury hotel, but you get what you pay for; an adequate 3 star hotel. The service is good, rooms are clean, and the staff is helpfull. All in all a nice experience.

I usually stay in Ijmuiden when I work in Holland, but de to the holiday season, all accommodation there was booked, so some 7 miles away was Hotel Bastion. Situated on the main road into the city, on an island created by drainage dykes, and next to a busy McDonalds, Hotel Bastion is a modern hotel, but is clean and...

Bathroom floods, almost into the room. Housekeeping states it's a construction error. Reception denies and states: A drain can be full and has to be cleaned. Come on guys, keep your stories equal. Room standard quality, 2 beds, clean. Parking free, wifi free Price/quality: Nothing special.
