Can't remember how I found this hotel but I'm glad I did. It proved the ideal stop between Erfurt in Eastern Germany and the next day's ferry from Dunkirk, with its own parking right outside the rooms. De Neuhof is beautifully situated on the banks of the Maas and barges chug by even at night. There are good walks to...

We wanted to visit where I used to live on the Dutch border, and spent ages looking for a hotel. Eventually found this, and despite not normally booking this type of hotel, decided to give it a go. Quick note - we booked originally via booking.com which allowed us the room only, but after contacting the hotel direct, we got...

The location of the restaurant next to the river De Maas is great especially the outside terrace. We had with a group of 8 persons a 3-course menu. The starter with salmon was small, I first thought it was an appetizer but realized it was the first course. Took as main course the sole fish. Got 2 small pieces and...

The room was comfortable and on two levels, but little did we know that the restaurant was going to be SENSATIONAL.We were glad it didn't have any Michelin stars, because that means prices go up.Service was great but the food amazing. We will be coming back.

Nicely located small hotel with great kitchen. The room had the bedroom at the second floor, you need to take the stairs (i stayed at room 3). The bathroom is downstairs. The button for the upstairs bedroom is hidden behind the downstairs curtain. The view is really spectaculair, over the river Maas. Service is warm and friendly. Nice breakfast (starts...

We booked this Hostellerie, located in the grounds of a derelict castle besde the river Maas, because of its proximity to the Floriade. On arrival we found we could not easily access the car park because the Hostellerie was surrounded by a street fair (fair ground rides). We originally booked for a two night stay but after making enquiries from...

We stayed here for our 2 day visit to the Floriade and were very glad that we did. All of the rooms have river views, the rooms were very comfortable and clean and the staff very friendly. The breakfasts were more than satisfactory - freshly baked rolls every morning, boiled eggs, ham, cheeses and fresh fruit. The Floriade was a...
