The hotel is nicely situated in the village. It has a terrace, with view on the semi-busy street, where you can observe tourists all day. The breakfast is very well organised, the different types of bread are very tasty and the coffee is really nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. Now for the but-part. We were situated in the... There is one large negative about this hotel: the spiral staircase! It is hard to get your luggage up - and we travel lightly. It is also very noisy if your room is nearby, and ours was. The automatic light in the bathroom was pretty annoying, too. Other than that, it was a great place to stay. We had a... More

Dear Solomon5, Thank you for your compliments and suggestion for a lift. A lift is certainly one of our wishes, but considering our building at this moment, nog realistic within short notice. We do hope to welcome you some other time for a visit with us in Otterlo. Best regards, Sonja More

We stayed for two nights. at 'Grand Café Hotel Kruller' in Otterlo because of the location to the The Kröller-Müller Museum. The Museum which has a huge collection of Van Gogh paintings, it is a thirty min walk, through the National Park, from the hotel. Otterlo is a picture book village. The hotel is a rustic hotel. I choose a... More

A lovely small hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff, good meals in the restaurant. We stayed here because we wanted to visit the nearby Van Gogh paintings, expensive but enjoyable. Parking to the rear of the hotel was not always available.

Stayed two nights to see the park and museum. If you take the bus (10 minutes) to the museum and park , the driver asks if you need a museum ticket or if you have a museumkaart. If you have a card, he doesn't (at least this time and four years ago) ask about a park pass, which saves you... More

We chose this hotel based on the proximity to the park so that we could walk in. It was only about 800 meters away and then we were able to hop on a bicycle to cruise through the park. When we returned to the hotel, we stayed there for a wonderful dinner on the patio. It was a fabulous day... More

I stayed here in December 2015 overnight for business and I was very impressed by the service and friendliness of the staff. The location is also quite cute with simple but comfortable rooms. The staff even organised an extra early breakfast service for myself and my colleagues, which was much appreciated! The food at the restaurant is also excellent!

When I go to a hotel for a holiday, I have a soft spot for small, well run family hotels where you feel welcome the moment you walk in, this hotel is such a hotel. THE ROOMS This hotel has three types of rooms, small, medium and large, we had a large one, which was actually quite spacious. The furnishing... More

Our main purpose was to visit Kröller-Müller Museum, so we decided to book a room in Otterlo, lovely and friendly village in the Hoge Veluwe parc. Our room was actually in an "annex" of the main building, called The White House. Small but confortable room, fully equiped. Meals would be in the main hotel. Very good and varied breakfast, excellent... More

Comfortable room, good food (breakfast and evening meal), friendly people. If you are interested in the Hoge Veluwe park or the Kroller-Muller museum the location is perfect. We enjoyed our stay and would be very happy to return. Access to upstairs bedrooms is via a spiral staircase which is no problem but wouldn't suit someone with a mobility problem.
