Due to COVID there are many things that are weird, for example breakfast buffet. Coffee is really bad for gourmet kitchen; food in general is good, not to complain. Service is very average, some people working in the hotel are nice and helpful, some very unfriendly even rude. Rooms are not clean, many old items, toilets and bath in room (for 450,- a night...) with rust spots, a lot of dust and very dry air. There is a major reconstruction in front of hotel right now, which means a lot of noise, no nice view and no playground for kids. If you are with kids don’t stay here! Playground that is in the photos is under reconstruction, there is no playroom or any other activities for kids. Kids are allowed only in pools, which are nice, but generally not a family friendly hotel.

Lovely hotel - friendly staff, great food, nice spa area. Lots of attention to details - big towels, fruit and nuts in the room etc. Restaurant has a nice choice and they adapt to dietary needs. We had a great stay and felt safe with respect to the Covid rules which were clear and well followed (except by one older woman working in the hotel who liked to wear her mask on her chin). The hotel rooms are a bit old and in need of a renovation. Other major downside is they have major construction work ongoing outside

Due to a major reconstruction of the facilities (outside) involving prolonged heavy drilling, that unfortunately was too well to be heard in the executive room in which I was working (Skype). I would have decided differently for my booking if this major construction works during week days would have been advised when making the reservation by phone with the hotel reception.

Fridge in room 128 was actually a heater. Rooms and WC need updating. Food was good if expensive - 17.- for what turned out to be some mushroom sauce and a puff pastry biscuit was way too much. Spa was bizarrely entirely filled with clothed people. We asked if that was the rule and were told it was because there were so many Swiss Germans there (we only overheard one couple). Didn’t appreciate being told off by the spa attendant that I was too loud in the quiet lounge (just telling my son that we were leaving) while he was walking around with his nose sticking out of his mask.

ICheck in was so quick and hotel is breathtaking. I would definitely stay here again. Hotel is super clean spa is amazing i could not belive that there is such a marvelous place in La chaux de fonds . When you go to spa everything you need from Sandales to towels are already waiting for you. What I didn't like is yes its a high level hotel but breakfast should be at least buffet that guests get to chose what they want. There is waitress standing there asking you what you want and then comes very very tiny bowls of fruits which are cut into tiny pieces you apparently don't even know what they are. Service was on another lever younger restaurant service ladies (girls) were more hospitable in service department they smile they are fun the older service ladies are serious and in a hurry and not friendly at all. They just ask what you want without hello. I wish they can improve on this. I will give younger service ladies a 5*

I enjoyed the short stay. Very nice property. The staff is friendly and the food excellent. I also appreciated the strict measures to handle COVID. I felt safe. Unfortunately I did not have time to try the spa.

Welcome by reception staff was very friendly, room was more than disappointing. Temperature in the room was around 29 C, a small window to let some air in. All looked old fashioned from the late Seventies. Spa was ok, but only open from 3pm to 8 pm. Finally the breakfast : due to Covid 19 no buffet, but 2 harsh staff member served. Hot egg dishes ? No. For about 300 euros I expect better quality. Never more again.

The spa was very nice, a lot of sauna experiences. The dinner at the restaurant was also very good. Still, the wine is ridiculously expensive! The room was quite old. Especially, some lights did not work correctly and we didn't have hot water to shower. Breakfast was disappointing: for the price you pay you expect more. The breakfast is not different from what you get in a regular hotel or even motel, except that there was one bottle of prosecco... Overall, we would advise you to go for the spa and for having a nice dinner but don't stay for the night!

Very nice hotel in a region with lots of things to discover, museums and nature. Private spa facilities are excellent but it would be good to open these before 10am. Good restaurant with original dishes.

Very good room, nice hotel, both pools were excellent, I will recommend to others. The only sad thing is that the hotel is too far from the city center. There is a bus line downhill but it doesn't come to the hotel. You still have to walk. And because everything is closed at 5 p.m. you need to be fast.
