What a beautiful relaxing hotel. Built in traditional Canarian style but with every modern amenity for living today. Hotel is quite large but there is always a quiet corner or more to find both inside and out. Its a relaxed place and sort of understated luxury. Staff extremely

This was our first visit to Lanzarote, booked at short notice as illness had meant Christmas was cancelled so we fancied a treat. I was very dubious about staying in a resort with nothing much to do, but I need not have worried, as the PY was a very good starting point for a

Lanzarote was a holiday we had in mind for a quiet pre Christmas break with a helping hand of winter sun and we were not disappointed. This hotel is up there for first class accommodation with the most attentive staff. Our room had a balcony which overlooked the pool and sea.

Spent a week here with three kids. My daughter loved the soccer camp and my sons loved the playgrounds. There was a small issue with the original room we were given but they sorted it pronto and were very helpful. The real test of a place is sometimes how they deal with

We had a great family holiday at this hotel, its easy access to the beach and great pools were what we wanted, our suite overlooked the sea and the lower pool, we were able to visit the restaurants and we were impressed by the quality of the food. If we return to Lanzarote, I

We have not got children with us but we boil the water let it cool down then drink it We buy a few smaller bottles at supermarket use them up and when empty fill up with cooled kettle water. Saves on going to the supermarket all the time and money too

There are plenty of really good restaurants within a 5 min walk from the hotel, on the Marina on your left and if you turn right out of the hotel and walk about 5 mins onto the road adjacent to the beach there are some great little Tapas bars. Also the Japanese restaurant in the hotel is worth a visit. We did not book half board and did not regret it. Also a little tip, pay the extra for the a la carte breakfast, it's served in their Premier restaurant and its all cooked to order, the views overlooking the bay is a great way to start your day

Not something I ever asked while I was there and was mostly having cocktails or Rioja at the hotel. But nothing at Yaiza is second rate, the wine is amazing but then what Spanish wine isn't and the staff were brillian as always. Were very helpful with my Spanish also after over a year of learning so far. Lovely people and an amazing hotel. Try also the restaurant Volcano de Timanfaya which is a five minute walk towards the port as the food is amazing and staff are great. Very Spanish which is perfect as I never want English fish chips served by Brits while abroad in another country. :) Have fun!!

Best advise is to call the hotel regarding creche. As for the weather it's their winter now and its still 22-23 most days but you can never tell.

You might be surprised. Came back the week before Xmas and we were most definitely sunbathing. I'd have no reservations about going here any time of the year.
