This is a most beautiful, and beautifully placed Guest house - its not really an hotel, as you are left alone and unbothered most of the time. The rooms are delightful, a wonderful breakfast is ready for you every morning, there are comfortable loungers outside your bedroom window, looking over the beautiful bay, where you can read and loiter all...

You are at the centre of a mad world , step inside Casa Del Embajador , and that madness falls away , with just 12 staying rooms you are not bothered , read your books , listen to your music or just use the hotel as a base for exploring Lanzarote you will be really distressed overlooking the sea ,...

This is the best located hotel in Playa Blanca where we have a villa. We have always wanted to stay here and used an excuse of family at our villa !! It has to be the most peaceful hotel we have stayed in and the view from the bedroom and terrace is breathtaking with fabulous sun rises and sun sets....

Pretty much understood what to expect from other reviews. So - pros: gorgeous spot between the town and the beach, with amazing terrace to sit out and look out to sea. Feels more like sharing a villa than staying in a hotel. Rooms good; bathroom great - best lit bathroom in ages! Lovely touch to leave big bowl of fresh...

To us this is the only place on the island that offers luxury: peace, style, direct access for excellent swimming and snorkeling, restaurants and shops in walking distance, very good breakfast, perfect view, nice rooms, great bath room and towels, perfect service...

Just got back from a 7night stay. When we first arrived we got a deep sense of tranquility. The view out to sea from the rooms (with sea view) are fabulous, the brise was going through the palm trees and the sea was lapping against the shore. On the pros: central location yet feels far away, no hassle from staff...

If you want entertainment, room service, a pool or kids' activities don't come here - the Casa del Embajador doesn't have any of these things. But what it does provide is a feeling of perfect peace and seclusion, despite being right in the middle of Playa Blanca. The rooms are tastefully decorated and welcoming. There are beautiful views over the...

This hotel is perched beautifully over the promenade in Playa Blanca, yet it is very well hidden from the view of other holiday makers, staff are barely around, adding to the serenity of the Place, breakfast is simple but nice. The history of this hotel as an embassy is most obvious with many original features remaining, one disadvantage is poor...

As man others before us pointed out: This little hotel is made from a complex formerly owned by an Ambassador - and thats exactly what you feel: Somehow transported to quiet colonial times with the owner attending the flowers with in a long sleeves shirt and a Panama hat - extremely stylish, to say the least! Most rooms have a...

Chose this because I had seen it on previous visits and was not disappointed. It was quiet, unhurried, private and clean. Rooms were average size, with small but functional bathrooms, and the terrace was just outside the room. If you want to be fussed over and want entertainment and lots of company AVOID, but if you want to be left...

“Request bed type (double/twin) on arrival. The owner is happy to juggle rooms where possible, especially in quieter periods.”

“This is a wonderful retreat for couples. If you want to relax and read a book and just relax and enjoy being together -this is it. The suite room is the only one that has doors onto the terrace but obviously costs a bit more! All the rooms are somewhat dated so don't come here if you want modern luxury. And those of us who love Lanzarote style and pace are happier if you don't! This place has the soul of the island all over it. ”
