We stayed here for a short 4 night's break as our trip to the Gambia was cancelled at the last minute. Room was very nice. Buffet breakfast excellent. But the atmosphere in and around the hotel was really so bland. The bar was a joke. It was over priced and did not open until 8.30pm. We did not have lunch or...

We spent 2 weeks as a winter break at The Volcano Hotel, first impression booking in was easy, reception staff very efficient and friendly, we were pleased with our room, spacious, liked the separate toilet in bathroom. Nice patio area, not too sure about sun beds right out side for other guest use, as this intruded on our privacy. Everything...

This was our second visit to this hotel and as a second visit (on a B and B basis) was chosen on this occasion only due to its location near the Rubicon Marina ,which we knew had a lot to offer in respect of restaurants and also comfortable and pleasant walking access to the main area of the resort of...

This hotel starts off great. You walk in to the sounds of monks chanting and lit candles. Very pleasant staff behind reception allowed us to check in early - so I was thinking to myself "this is going to be a good hotel". The room itself was a massive let down. There was mold on the ceiling, it was very...

Stayed for a couple of nights, bed and breakfast, and was quite pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Apart from some of the outdated furnishings, the rest is gorgeous; pools are stunning and always clean, the walkways around the pools and hotel are well-kept, and the entrance (a monastery-type building?!) is quite impressive. Views from the higher levels are lovely. Classes...

Booked a sea view, when we arrived no sea views available. Even had to show proof that I had paid extra for a sea view. Stayed half board. Breakfast was fine, dinner was dreadful. Food only luke warm. Paella was disgusting with shells broken into tiny pieces. Plates, bowls, cups were dirty. Food from the previous days was stuck to...

There are two parts to this resort. The main part provides family-friendly accommodation in a series of (very many) rooms terraced around a large central pool. This area also contains restaurants, bars and other facilities. There is a separate, adults only section which is very quiet, tranquil and thoroughly civilised. It tends to attract a 'more mature' clientele and offers...

From the lobby to the rooms there is a relaxed vibe. They go out of their way to make you comfortable, the design of the hotel and view of the marina is outstanding. Setting for breakfast and choice of food is vast. Only thing is there is not much to do in close proximity for young adults. Having to walk...
