We initially booked into this hotel for two nights before our main holiday, we had arranged a late check in as we were arriving around midnight, there were eight of us flying in with EasyJet who cancelled our flight after a four hour delay, we did manage to get an alternative flight which meant we would miss our first night so we emailed the hotel at 4am explaining the situation and to let them know the reason why we wouldn't be making the first night but would be there in the morning for our second night. When we eventually arrived at Ibiza airport, we rang the hotel to let them know we were on our way only to be told they had resold our rooms to someone else and we were no longer booked in!!! We asked why this was the case having already paid for the rooms, they said it was because we hadn't turned up. We then asked for our second nights money back to which we were basically told tough, this was extremely frustrating despite us emailing them at 4am that morning (the earliest we were able to confirm we were on our new flight) and explaining our predicament. They told us that we wouldn't be getting any money back and if we were unhappy to take it up with booking.com (how can they do this and get paid twice for rooms previously booked), so basically having been let down by EasyJet, then travelling from Luton airport to Gatwick airport over night at our own expense, arriving in Ibiza the following morning then being left high and dry by this hotel we then had to find a new hotel and pay an additional 400 euros between us for our nights' accommodation. This kind of customer service deserves recognition and having been at the back2ibiza festival for a further 5 days we told everyone who cared to listen about our experience and the dreadful customer service we received, and all were of the same opinion that it was appalling behaviour for a hotel. My advice to anyone wanting to stay at the hotel Florencio in the future, don't rely on them, have an alternative arrangement and don't expect any pleasant customer service. We have set up a complaint with booking.com and we will chase them to get us our money back and this will be documented on here for any future guests to follow.…
I don’t know why but I expected a lot less of this hotel however, I was pleasantly surprised by it! It’s in a great location, short walk from the strip, San Antonio front and the sunset strip. The room was clean & bright, not sure if they have had a refurbishment recently. The room was fully equipped with tv, fridge, hairdryer, towels and was spacious. I didn’t have a balcony so can’t comment on that and I also didn’t use the air con whilst I was there. Pool area was really nice, there’s a bar & restaurant also. Feels quite safe as you need a key card to go up to the rooms. The only reason why I marked down was because there wasn’t a room to leave your bags in on check out. Would definitely stay again!
Hotel was in a perfect area. Bar and restaurant lovely and clean. Pool area very small and a lot of area's shaded throughout the day but also a small upper level for the sun worshiper's LOL. The only real issue that ruined my trip was NO AIR CON! I complained at reception everyday and they told us we turned the maintenance man away when he came to our room but this was false because he never came, the 2nd day i had already had enough with temperatures over 40 degree's so i explained we were going out for the day but insisted to be moved rooms or for it to be fixed by the time we returned. It wasn't! We traveled with a group of 15 people and ours was the only room with a fan inside so the hotel clearly knew the air con didn't work. The reception staff were disgustingly rude, like a bull dog chewing a wasp! We were told no other rooms were vacant to swap us so we spent our holiday getting ready and sleeping in friends rooms which is ridiculous!!…
This place is fantastic for the money, our room was nice and clean with plenty of space and a balcony. The staff are very friendly, there's a good pool. Drinks are very reasonable prices and the breakfast is good too! We enjoyed our week here, this was my 2nd stay and I would happily stay again
Great little place to stay in san Antonio, more hotel than hostel, bright clean rooms, nice pool, nice bar and food area downstairs and a great location for everything you need. Staff friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to stay again in the future.
Great location, 2/3 minutes walk to Ibiza rocks, easy walking distance to main strip with loads restaurant's nearby and spa shop and other super markets. Room cleaned daily and towels only thing missing was hairdryer but u can ask to use one at their desk, also u have a safe to use in room, not tea or coffee machine but we had breakfast daily 7-10am. Staff very friendly and helpful, you get discount on club events through the hotel. Breakfast suitable for us, only missing sausages other than that you had cereal, baked items and eggs, bacon, beans and breads. Swimmers pool as well and lounger not very big but was ok seeing most hotels nearby didn't have pool. There is also WiFi within hotel and room's. You have everything required in this hostel was more like a 3 star hotel to be honest alot better than expected, I would recommend to any friends or family to stay here, looking forward to coming back in the future.…
Fantastic hotel with lovely staff and great facilities. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The maid visits every day to bring fresh towels and turn the beds down. There is a bar and restaurant on the ground floor serving great food at very competitive prices. This is my third stay and cannot fault it. About a 100m walk gets you into the heart of the west end and a little further has you on the beaches or harbour.
We have stayed here before and were looking forward to returning to Ibiza. It turned out to be a great decision as it has improved on its already great previous review. This hotel is extremely clean, rooms have been renovated and improved, the staff are like one big family and the food is very good also. The location is excellent, very central and they also have a bicycle hire shop next door. The staff go out of their way to assist you here. Well done & thank you!
Can’t thank Juan Carlos, the pool manager enough for making us feel so welcome. Asked daily if we were okay, if there was anything he could do. Had a laugh and joke with us. Give great recommendations on the hotel food. Just a lovely friendly face to greet you by the pool. Hotel was fab. Very clean, air con in the room was great. Requested an extra night stay, they sorted it with no problems. Asked for an iron it was there waiting on our arrival. Security ensured everyone wore masks when walking through the hotel, put us at ease. Thanks for making our holiday one to remember Ibiza Rocks, we’ll most definitely be seeing you again next year. Ibiza Rocks family ❤️
Pros: Fair Hostal, good value for its price. Location is great: SA bay at 5 min walking distance, station 10 min. Easy to find without navi. They have an own restaurant with very good prices, food costs a third to half less than in Eivissa (7€ all you can eat breakfast-4 kinds of bread, croissants, eggs, tomatos, .., 12,5€ dinner- fresh fish, meat, jacket potatos, drinks incl, ..). The paella is good, way cheaper than at the bay. They have an own bike rent shop. Down the street you can rent a motorbike, with 10% hotel discount Also, you can get cheaper tickets to Formentera at the hotel than online or on board. Friendly personnel. Pool is ok, always in the shadow though. Parking available in front of the door Con: beds are really bad, back hurts from first night on. cleaning: found hairs from previous guests all over, floor is still dirty after cleaning street side can get a bit noisy til 02;00 am. safe at room didnt work breakfast; same everyday…
