The price for this hotel was very reasonable and the accommodations reflected it. Rooms were very basic but at least they were very clean! The only true complaint was that the air conditioner wasnt working well so you truly felt the humid August heat. The shower door also fell off the hinges a few times. Breakfast was good. Pool area was nice. You could walk to restaurants/beaches with ease. Hailing a taxi on the main road was very difficult- I recommend having the desk staff call one (although you will wait long). Walk to the bus station is only 15 minutes from the hotel as well.
This is the second time staying at this hotel. We find this hotel perfect for a mix of clubbing and relaxing. Rooms The rooms are clean and basic but have everything they need. Small fridge, hair dryer, tv (channel 34 for English) storage space to unpack, a safe which you pay to use, hot/cold shower and a balcony Facilities A small supermarket attached which is a godsend for frozen water, fresh fruit, fresh made sandwiches, any alcohol needed and plenty of juice, snacks and ice-cream Pool - excellent for relaxing around, music and sun beds. What makes this hotel stand out from others I have stayed In is the pool attendant. He looked after us all week. Arranged loungers for us, picked up empty glasses around the pool, kept everyone very safe. He also had to sort out a couple of rowdy young lads who were enjoying their holidays in Ibiza but he dealt with them very professionally. He was there the 7 days we were there and didn't seem to have a day off but he was amazing Pool bar/ restaurant Pool bar has a great range of cocktails and hot snacks which were excellent. We used daily. Breakfast in the restaurant was great - a choice of continental and cooked, fresh fruit/ toast/pastries/ salamis & cold meats/ cereals and hot items - bacon, eggs, beans and sausages. ( reading other reviews I can't see what else they could provide ) We also stayed half board - We went a few nights before we were going out clubbing as it saved a walk for food. We found the choices okay, it depended on personnel taste to be honest, I preferred one night and my partner liked another nights options better. The only thing I could say was the food could have been hotter but again hot options and cold options to a buffet dinner!! Although I don't know if I would use the half board option again as I don't felt we got our moneys worth. Veronica in the restaurant was always there to assist us and was very helpful. Location Not too far from the main area but far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle. There was a few small supermarkets round and also two Chinese restaurants near. It's a hotel that suits people that want a bit of relaxation but also a bit of the party life of Ibiza. There is always going to be younger people who are in high spirits of being in Ibiza and there is always going to be people going out to clubs after midnight and coming in a five in the morning. It's not a quiet romantic holiday location but neither is San Antonio If you want a quiet holiday don't go to San Antonio, if you want a fun mix of partying and relaxing then this is your hotel. We will return to this hotel again without a doubt…
We found Hotel Puchet to be very clean and pretty much central to all in San Antonio, but is also far enough out of the way to enjoy a quiet evening. Pool had music playing every day and the pool attendant was very friendly and helpful when it came to getting sun loungers etc. Bar staff were pleasant and friendly also, each day as we walked by they always had time for a nice exchange of words. The only off putting thing for us, was that the two ladies on reception upon our arrival were very unhelpful and unfriendly which made us uncomfortable. However; the overall experience changed our outlook.
Great experience at hotel puchet. Exceeding all expectations of a 3* hotel in San Antonio. Clean throughout, relaxed & friendly staff, modern rooms and great pool area. A real mix of couples/groups while we were there so accommodating for all. I also suspect the hotel separate the various groups into different blocks as we didn’t receive any noise complaints despite pre drinking on balcony until 1.30am that was a real bonus for us getting ready to go out.
Stayed for four nights as attending a wedding. Also paid 226 euros to upgrade and not worth the money. The pool area is not as big as the photographs suggest and was always full by 10am and very loud piped beat music, the walk to the beach in the heat is very uncomfortable and not not the best air con. This is the only holiday I have ever being bitten when in the room and not sure is this had anything to do with the tiny ants which were all over, even after the room had been cleaned. Room was very basic and bathroom was quite dated. On our last night paid 32 euros for an evening meal which was awful very little to choose from and every was luke warm and only served cold drinks. This was he most we had paid for any meal in the entire four days outside the hotel. The food in the snack bar was much better, we ate lunch there most days. Staff were friendly but there English was not good and had difficulty responding to our questions. Also asked for a quiet room but could here the pool music all the the time and on our last time was kept awake until early hours by children running and screaming, which led to an unsettled sleep before our 7 am trip to the airport. Overall this hotel is nothing like its description and photos it appears and I would not recommend anyone to stay here, I have been on a few holidays with tui and this was the worst and not worth the £1400 plus the extra 226 euros, I have spent less on an all inclusive with better accommodation and food. …
Stayed for 3 nights with my friend. Has everything you need great pool, bar, supermarket. Reception were always helpful when we had a query or needed a taxi. We would definately recommend and return here
The food was really nice and good value for money. Friendly staff, one in particular (Jacob). Always chatted and had a smile of his face. Room were clean but the air-con wasn’t the best. But overall nice place.
Poor hotel which could of been so much better. Start with the noise. Getting to sleep here is not the problem it’s staying asleep. Throughout the night people in the corridor screaming and shouting, rooms with speakers on full blast, banging and kicking on the walls makes sleeping virtually impossible as you’re waking up 10+ times a night. We were given a room with 2 single beds even though I did not pay for this. The room did not have a do not disturb sign in Ibiza! I asked receptionist for one as we were going clubbing and he did not understand the words ‘do not disturb’ and ‘no clean please’. We were then followed as they thought me and my partner did not have a key and were bunking in the hotel. As a result of the useless receptionist, we were woken up at 08:30 by cleaners in the morning after we had been clubbing the night before. The pool area was great however it was ruined by groups of lads being drunk at 10am, shouting and misbehaving and annoying everyone else. This hotel would of been great if there were rules in place. There was no one to put a stop to this and that’s were it needs improving. When people have music at full volume on a speaker in a corridor at 3am someone should be there to tell them to turn it off but no, anything goes. Food is a 3/10 glad I was only bed and breakfast and the staff are useless. Refuse to ring you a taxi at night so if you’re going clubbing you will have to walk down to Sant Antoni to wait in a 20 minute queue for a taxi. View from our room was another balcony from another hotel/apartment over the road so there was 0 privacy at all. Hotel would of been so much better if there were rules in place.…
Just back from 3 nights at Es Puchet. Very clean and modern as you enter reception. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room had everything we needed and was kept clean by the lovely cleaning staff. Fresh towels each day. The only fault with the room would be the air con, it wouldn't cool you down at all when in the room. Pool was lovely very spacious area and was so nice to relax by. Supermarket right beside hotel for anything you need and about 15 min walk to beach front. Over all a great stay and would definitely come back to puchet again. Thanks for the hospitality. A good, clean hotel with a nice pool but a good 15/20 minute walk from main strip. I was very disappointed to find some English money that had been hidden away had been stolen out of out of the safe. The safe was not locked as no instructions were left on how to and I later found out you had to pay €3 per day to use it, this was NEVER mentioned on arrival and I got told “oh we don’t tell our guests that anymore”. I find it strange why they wouldn’t tell guests this information. At the end of the day my money was stolen out of a closed but unlocked safe which you never expect when on holiday. I knew it had gone missing as I came with a specific amount of english money, and obviously did not spend it whilst in Spain as they use euro. This had quite clearly happened when the room was being cleaned, I got questioned asking if anyone else had been in my room, which was a no. The only other person with access was the cleaner. Absolutely nothing was done as no proof could be obtained, which I guess is understandable but again, money being stolen from a hidden place is shocking. No camera footage could be viewed as cameras are locked until the boss comes in, which I also found a bit strange as what if something worse happened? I am a young person on holiday with friends and felt very taken advantage of. You do not expect your things to be rummaged through and stolen, as there was multiple other objects in the room that had been quite clearly moved for no reason. I must thank the english, blonde haired receptionist for dealing with the situation straight away, I never saw anyone else running to help him, I felt the Spanish receptionist looked at me as though I was speaking rubbish. The man did reassure me that locks were being changed on my room and cleaners were being changed around to see if this situation kept happening. However, this did not help my situation as this happened on my last day. I did get the impression from him that this had happened before too. I got told nothing else could be done about it, which I felt very disappointed with. In general, could not fault the hotel but just make sure your safe is locked and anything valuable is hidden away at ALL TIMES.…
