Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. I stayed in both the mixed dorm and private rooms, both were good but the a/c should be cooler in the dorms. I believe you can just ask them for this. There are good common areas and it's close to some nice restaurants and cheap breakfast spots, plus a nice area down by the water, about a 10min walk. I'll stay again next time I come
Amistat is truly run by some amazing people that instantly make you feel warm and welcome! Saturdays the staff prepare paella poolside, and offers a giant plate of it for 5 euros. I will definitely be returning to Ibiza and will make it a point to always stay at the Amistat.
the place was very clean and has the cool vibe that we like, and it seemed cheap knowing the prices on the island. The hostel staff treated us great and controlled the noise in all areas so that you could sleep at any time
Amistast is a good place to meet new people. The place is clean with a nice environment. The bedroom is equipped with everything you would need to have a nice stay. Bathroom has privacy and is clean. The staff is also really friendly. It is located near the beach. Recommend!
Had an awesome time at Amistat this weekend! The staff was super friendly and helpful. They were happy to give tons of recommendations and answer any questions. We messaged them at 2am to ask what club to go to and they responded super fast! The place was really clean and the beds were decently comfy. They had a lot of fun events like beer bong, bar happy hour and $5 paella. Overall, would definitely recommend!
Very happy with the overall experience at this hostel. There were so many nice people and easy to do your washing. the bar was pretty cool and handy. I met some great friends and that's just the atmosphere of this place.
Very clean, nice breakfasts, like the kitchen, my females only room was perfect, enough space in the locker, nice pool view from the balcony. Just was sorry the rooftop was closed & I could not do my yoga practice there. Great staff members, super polite & lovely. Would chose these place again. It is 10 minutes walk away from the sea & Mambo cafe which is epic. 10 minutes from bus station also very convenient. Loved my stay
After living in different countries, also in Ibiza,I can confirm Amistat is the only proper hostel u can find in the island: good living room, swiming pool,kitchen,activities... Other 'hostels' in Ibiza ...they are just a flat/s trying to be a hostel. Apart from the cleaning staff (not polite), people who works there are friendly and profesional . Special mention to Juanma, the 2nd manager I think, really profesional. What more...It is a modern hostel and location good. The only negative point, the people cleaning there, that even entered to my room b4 checkout time, without saying nothing( I was wearing undercloathes) and didnt apologize, and they started to clean and moving lockers and other furnitures, being myself in the room. In general a good place to stay in Ibiza, although price could be more fair...according some vacacional apartments. But honestly if u re looking for a good Young vive, visit Amistat…
Staff is friendly and cool until there is an actual problem, they provide zero help/don't care. They tried to charge me twice for my stay. They will not do their due diligence to confirm your reservation is accurate at in person check in, so ask them to make sure all is correct. Horrible customer service, they want to take every penny they can. Lockers did not work on a few occasions Whack crowd, especially the younger crowd. I was photographed in the common bathroom without my consent. The bar tenders / DJ were the best part about this hostel. All were genuinely friendly and didn’t try to rip you off. Good pours. Decently clean, rooms are cleaned daily. Though I saw a roach in my room. Never will stay here again. Way too pricey for a hostel experience which is for backpackers.…
It seemed to be a good place, but too many rules to be at Ibiza plus the rooms are REALLY small and not comfortable. Kitchen is really bad and they close it form 00 to 12, so you are not even able to get your food for breakfast (they sell one and i think they do this in order to make you buy it). You are not able to leave any beverages at the fridge and you cant take alcohol to your room (even if you are planning to leave it at your locker). Do not recomend it at all! I know is the cheapeast you will find at Ibiza, but trust me that it is worth it to pay a little more for another place. I stayed 2 nights instead of 5.
