We stayed there for three nights whilst on a bus trip. Decor a little old fashioned but the whole place was very clean and well maintained. Food was plentiful and although not exciting it was very good value. The house wine wasn't good. Staff were pleasant and obliging.

Recently spent 3 nights at this hotel on a trip organised by David's Coaches. Room and bathroom, clean, serviceable, quiet, plenty of towels and toiletries. Staff friendly and efficient. Yes the bar closed early but we were all very tired. Yes the air conditioning was off when you returned to your room each evening, but you could quickly get it...

This is our second leg of our bus excursion. It is located at the outskirts of La Carlota and across the bullfight arena. While the room is basic, the air-conditioning is not that cool. On the first night, we had to open the windows to get some cross wind. It was slightly cooler the following night. The meals were tasty....

We stayed with a group of 17 people from our church recently. Everyone enjoyed the hotel and had nothing bad to say about the hotel which is unusual. The rooms appeared clean and the pool was large with neatly kept grounds. It is across the street from a bull fighting ring so if you are in Spain during the bull...

Some recent reviews of this hotel have been pretty damning but we were actually pleasantly surprised during our stay.To be fair most of the previous complaints seem to have come from customers staying in the annexe building. The main part of the hotel was fine if a little past it's sell-by date. The food was acceptable although some of the...

We stayed in May 2014 as (like many) a base on Daves coach trips. Unfortunately, I have not yet found a way to review the coach trips but here goes for the hotel. It was clean and in a nice setting although just back off a very busy road. The meals we were served were adequate although I think there...

There is nothing wrong with the Hotel El Pilar, which is a solid 3 star facility. They are well-suited to serve motorcoach groups with their multiple floors, divided dining areas and a nice bar with excellent prices for drinks. The food in the restaurant is nothing inspiring, but you won't go hungry. There is AC in all the rooms. I...

This hotel was not 3star standard - most disappointing. We stayed with Davids Coachtrips and found that comments made from the April trip still apply. The food was extremely poor standard; the ensuite bathroom had a continuous strong smell of drains; the beds were extremely uncomfortable and crossing the carpark to the annexe accommodation was hazardous in the dark and...

We stayed here 26 - 29 May 2013, also as part of a coach trip by David's Coachtrips S.A. arranged for our Sailing Club. We expected a 3 star experience and that is what we got. But no complaints as it was one part of a very good value for money trip. Ideally situated for our visits to the Cordoba...

Perfectly located for visits to Seville and Cordoba with great and secure parking. Room was a bit dull but comfortable room. Food was average but overall the facility provided very good value for money. Staff could have been a bit more friendly but this was probably due to being extremely busy and having very little English and our Spanish is...

“we stayed above main doorway in main building so wifi signal was good there. most rooms i believe have twin beds so if you want a double may have to specifically ask. Annex was not very far to walk(about 20 metres) as previous reviews led us to think it was slightly further to main hotel.”
