Very comfortable, well run hotel. So much to see the the area, it was nice to make this hotel our base for a couple days. Good restaurants in the town of Pias. The hotel was quiet, clean with good beds and a nice pool. Breakfast could have a bit more variety, but certainly was adequate. Nice place to stay.

We originally booked for one night based on the reviews on this site. We had spent our 1st 2 weeks in Portugal jumping from place to place. When we arrived here we found the atmosphere and the hospitality of our hosts so inviting we booked for a second night. Pedro, the Manager and his mother go out of their way...

This is quite a lovely little country hotel, very clean and nice helpful people. On the downside, the pool is not for swimming being only 5m x 3m; the wi-fi is split into two, downstairs is fine, but upstairs is very much hit or miss. It will connect for 2 or 3 minutes then disconnect. There was also very little...

Friendly landlady, and staff. Comfy, clean. Pool and bar. Only thing I disliked was the noise every time the guests across the corridor arrived/left their room, as the surfaces are all hard, and noise carries far. Could also hear someone in that room on the toilet. Breakfast next Morning was the standard continental bread, cheese, ham, yogurt, fruit fare. Couldn't...

I would like to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique experience that can only be found in a rural setting like Pias Portugal. We were treated like a personal friend by Pedro. The hotel itself is like a museum but with a pool(small) and all the modern conveniences. The restaurant Pedro recommended to us was one of...

More due to the location then the overall hotel accomodation itself. The location is amazing and very nice for relaxing, and the hotel staff very kind and helpfull. But count on the hotel only for sleep.

Stayed 2 nights in an awesome family run Betica hotel rural in Pias Portugal. Pedro and his mom run this cool little hotel located in castle and olive oil country in southern Portugal. Pedro was amazing giving us all sorts of information about Portugal, it's culture and people. Like others have mentioned he joined us briefly at the local restaurant...

Best service ever!!! We're received as we're part of the family!! The accomodations were great, beautifully decorated, warmth and clean!!! But the best is by far the staff, they really know how to make you feel welcome! The location is nice, Serpa village its near and even the more touristic villages to the north such as Alqueva, Moura, Mourão, arent...

George accompanied us to a local restaurant to help with language. The food and service was great, best octopus salad and pork ever! “We had one room overlooking the church square and one on the pool / patio. Either is quite nice, but the church side gets better breezes and light while the pool side might be a touch more quiet (if you consider chirping birds or church bells noise).”
