Just spent a week at Castello di Gabbiano - breathtaking views, excellent rooms, outstanding restaurant. Brought home amazing wines and olive oils! Highly recommend if you are looking for an experience of a lifetime in Tuscany! Loved it!

There are several other restaurants in walking distance (5 min walk). When you walk out of the hotel walk right and up. Otherwise you can get the free shuttle in to Sorrento where there are many lots of restaurants... More

We took a cab from Florence, with a short detour to Piazalle Michelangelo for the view. Cost us 69 Euro. There are no buses to Castello di Gabbiano. The nearest bus stop could be Mercatale Val di Pesa, almost 2 KM downhill... More

Not at all. But reservations are essential, because the restaurant is rather small - even with its first floor seating. Maybe in the summer, when outdoor seating is made available, tables may be relatively easier to get even... More
