We attended a family wedding at the villa and all guests stayed on site, with around 90 guests the grounds are spacious enough that you dont trip over one another. The villa itself is set away from the main rooms slightly and over looks beautiful gardens and dilapidated out buildings which provide a rustic charm to the place. It is...

We stayed here for a friend's wedding. The accommodation was very nice although, the catering facilities were very poor. There is no shop nearby so you must make sure that you go to the supermarket before getting there. We stayed in one of the out houses which was decorated very nicely but the weather had not been good and when...

Not knowing what to expect as we only had pictures to go by, we found our accommodations very nice for a 17th century Villa/Farmhouse. The staff was very accommodating We were guests of the Bride & Groom and the staff that helped them prepare for their destination wedding .... Every detail was thought of. Our only suggestion for those staying...

My fiancé and I hosted our wedding celebration at Villa Catignano between October 16-23, 2015. Everything was perfect from the minute we and our guests arrived at the villa. We were a total of 36 people, with guests arriving from the US, Russia, UK, Norway, Germany and Hungary. Irene and Sofia were absolutely amazing at accommodating our every request -...

We celebrated my sister in laws wedding at Villa Catignano.Guests flew in from Dubai the UK USA New Zealand & Germany. We were around 60 people in the massive villa.I have given this place 5 stars because the views and the scenery made up for small minor hick ups that could be avoided with proper maintenance of the heating facility. The Internet...

I don’t know where to begin with this review of Villa Catignano; we had the most magical wedding week imaginable. Villa Catignano is located in the Tuscan hills a short drive from Siena. A car is more than useful as there is not much within walking distance of the villa, but this adds to the charm. Irene and Sofia are...

My my new husband and I recently got married at this magical location ( 25th August) we truly felt amazing and very special. Our family and friends joined us (77 people) and we were made to feel like it was our home ,we hired the venue exclusively and allowed ourselves to feel like Lord and lady of the manor! Our...

We stayed in the beautiful Villa Catignano for 3 nights in the end of June where we celebrated our wedding with our 30 friends and family members and it was absolutely magical. If you are a bride+groom to be and you are looking for your perfect wedding venue in Tuscany - Villa Catignano is definitely a great choice. In our...

I stayed in one of the smallest apartments offered (Tipo B) for a wedding weekend in June. This is a self-service villa, so do not expect anything more than a room here. No maid service and the person managing the villa is really only available during working hours to answer questions or provide any assistance. But the villa itself is...

Having read all the previous reviews about the villa, I was quite excited about going there for a wedding and found myself quite disappointed. The driving instructions from the website will get you pretty much nowhere and/or confused. I found Google Maps Navigation to be the best choice to get there. Now remember, it is a self-catering facility! Unless the...
