We booked two nights in this 4* hotel through a travel agency called RUEFA. There, the room called itself economy room, but it was listed as one of the double bed rooms. So what we expected was a double bed room inside the hotel complex. What we got was something a little different. At our arrival, the first thing we...

The location: The hotel itself is off the beaten track therefore journeys out to local restaurants and shops require a car or a taxi service (which is not too badly priced) The area is stunning more so at the top of the city looking out over the beach view. Don't stay here without a visit to Cefalu, witness true sicilian...

We stayed there for 2 weeks and had a great time with family! Very good service overall, especially the lifeguard (Paolo) and the staff at the poolbar (Sam) 👍! Hotel had their own animation team who arranged several type of activities every day and was fully passionated. We will definetely come back!

Visit was wonderful, nice apartment, lot of space, good air conditioning, nice people. Good place for discovering Sicily! Some points of improvement: swimming pool didn't just have enough beds, 6 more would do the job. We had some ants in our apartment, they weren't away even after poisoning by staff,.. television is sometimes at some channels not working, and we...

If you are staying at this hotel, hire a car- a) because you need to get out and about and see Sicily and b) there are no shops or restaurants within a mile of the hotel. Trying to find the hotel is not easy- you come off the main motorway from Palermo and despite the hotel being on the right...

We are half way through our 2 week holiday here and whilst Sicily is a beautiful place, the location of this hotel is quite isolated. If you want to get to see the Island you will definitely need to hire a car but do it before you come out as the hotel prices are 3 times as much. As to...

Rooms were poorly if at all air conditioned. Units turned off when you left the room, and even running full out, never cooled the room below 37C (it was 38C outside). Bathroom had a square toilet...! Wireless almost never functioned. It worked sporadically at the reception area only. Hotel is remote, so if you want to only stay there and...

The Dolcestate is very good. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, the whole hotel is spotless. The food was excellent, and plentiful, lots of choice hot and cold self service. The hotel pools were fine with lifeguards in attendence. It is a quieter hotel that suits families or couples. There are activities in the day outside siesta...
