we spent one day here, the place lies within a monastery with a wonderful cloister.... everything here smells of past history and there's still some monk around.Rooms big, very clean and comfortables. Free wifi everywhere. We are very satisfied!

This hotel has a pool. It was formerly a monastery and so there is a very pleasant cloister for serving drinks and relaxing. WE were there in torrential rain and so we didn't benefit from this! The rooms are comfortable enough but nothing special. The staff were friendly and helpful.

This hotel is in a converted convent/monastery and still feels a little like it today. Potentially has nice gardens but appear neglected. Our room with high ceilings gave the impression of being a little sparsely furnished. The Cloisters have the potential to be a highlight of your stay with some fantastic intact wall murals but the area is not well...

An old monastery converted into a hotel. Lovely building and large public spaces - but small rooms and even smaller bathrooms. Corridors very noisy as all tiled. Breakfast rather basic, but enough to get started for the day.

As the heading states, this hotel is an old building tastefully converted from a convent into a hotel and therefore it does have a lot of charm as well as a quirk or two but it's all the better for it. Large rooms and helpful staff made for a lovely stay but the surprise was the many picture frames without...

We had an excellent stay here! From the time I was trying to book through the phone, to the day we arrived(earlier than expected), throughout our stay and until the day we checked out, everyone was so helpful and friendly. We had a lot of demands but they made it a point to listen to all of these and tried...

This monastery has been converted into a very nice hotel. The rooms are excellent, so they are compact rather than small. The shower and Wi-Fi worked fine. The bed was comfortable and the place was spotless. It is a good location to explore Mount Etna and the surrounding area.

We used this place as a base for local exploring for two nights. Easily reached from the freeway, on the fringe of old town. Walking distance from some nice churches and a handful of cafès and restaurants NOT geared to tourists. This old convent is still part of the Franciscan parish live and the elegant/unassuming gray-friars gray is used to...

The room was dark and there was an awful smell. The air conditioning in the room was extremely noisy and we did not manage to sleep. We complained with the receptionist but her attitude left lots to be desired. After we were denied the chance to talk to her manager, we asked for her details - she told us that...
