Achill Island absolutely amazed us and stole our hearts forever! We had a great pleasure to experience the friendliness of local people and hospitality of Sinead our host. Achill Water's Edge B&B was an amazing place to stay in and we absolutely loved it's peaceful atmosphere and surroundings. Our room was gorgeous, comfortable and maintained to the highest standards, Sinead...

Achill Water's Edge, a B&B owned by Sinead, is by far one of the absolute best we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. The recent stay was during our third trip to Ireland from the United States and we will be back. Her breakfast was lovely and she was accommodating to our niece who is a vegetarian. Home...

highly recomend to stay in this fabulous B&B. The island is not big, the B&B is easy access by car. The owner is very friendly, the house is new and well decorated. You will feel like home when you first come in. We came in January even though outside is cold and rainy but inside is very warm. Comfortable bed,...

Thanks so much for your kind review. It certainly was pretty cold out while you were here but you still made the most of seeing nearly everything the island had to offer. Delighted you enjoyed your stay and breakfast. I hope you can make a return visit again soon.

I didn't have anything to eat, but others in my group said the food was excellent. So was my Irish Coffee! They have a nice little shopping area featuring hand made items, mainly clothing. A very homey place.

Dear Michael Thank you for the review however I think this may have been for a food establishment somewhere else on Achill Island. Glad you enjoyed it though. Happy New Year to you

I literally could not fault this B&B one bit! We had such a lovely stay and Sinead was so welcoming and also very helpful when we were planning our evening out. The french toast for breakfast was the nicest I've ever had - definitely worth a try!

It's in a great location for exploring the island. The host Sinead gave us great tips for where to visit she was very welcoming and knowledgeable on the area. The room was lovely and the breakfast was awesome! Choc chip French toast! Yum! I'm a veggie and there was plenty of options to satisfy me.

Really enjoyed our night at the B&B. It was super clean, comfortable and a great location. You definitely need a car though. Breakfast was really great with a very generous selection and Sinead was a lovely host. Would definitely go back and possibly stay for longer.

We'd never been to Achill but Sinead gave us lots of great tips about what to do and how to go about doing it. Such a great B&B with nicer furnishings and breakfast than any of the 4* hotels we've stayed in since! Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Achill.
