We stayed in this hotel this weekend with other friends, very pleasant place in the middle of vineyards, quiet. Nice terrace, incredible troglodyte swimming pool. Nice drinks. A little recommendation: do not ask any changes for breakfast - complicated to manage by waiters

This place is unbelievable, not often you get to stay in a troglodyte cave. We stayed in the troglodyte suite which is split over two levels and set in the cliff face. I would recommend staying for two nights though as you are in a real cave, alternatively spend a couple of nights in the cave and then switch to...

We stayed here to finish off a month in France and we're so pleased we did! We stayed in a cave suite (Room 12: two bedrooms, bathroom, lounge) and it was marvellous. The swimming pool was really something else: I've never swum inside a cave before and it was great fun (if a little on the cool side). The staff...

Stayed at this hotel overnight on my way from Toulouse to Paris. It is lovely and unique. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The rooms in the rock have a low ceiling, so tall people need be careful, but it is a nice experience. The piscine is also an interesting experience. The breakfast whilst being small quantities was good quality.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Fun little hotel. Only downside is the lack of catering. Rooms are clean and nice. Pool is different. Access could be easier. But all in all Nice hotel for reasonable value. Ensure you bring some food and drinks with you as the shops are more than 2km away.

The history behind this region is truly something very unique and special and The Loire Valley should be an absolute must at some stage during your life. As far as the hotel itself goes, it was fine without being particularly special. We stayed in one of the 'special' cave rooms and although comfortable, it was quite cramped and also let...

The rooms are below standard (inexpensively furnished and a bit tacky). The pool lacks atmosphere with no comforts (like poolside furniture) to make it a place that one can relax around. The gym is a few pieces of equipment in the cave with a tired green carpet. The 16 € brunch is overpriced for what it is - some bread...

Dear customer, we are somewhat puzzled about this comment since the price mentioned doesn't apply and mentions a price allocated in 2014. Moreover, your comments were posted the same day concerning hotel or guest jouse located in the same vicinity (Saumeur, Fontevraud,,Turquant).

Turquant village has two very good restaurant 10 mn walking. However, we are glad you liked the swimming-pool. Thank you for your compliment to our receptionist, we are pleased to help...

A most enjoyable and unique stay in caved accommodation. A very adequate 2 bedroom unit with a great bathroom and main room, all in a cave, most unusual. One or two nights is all you need, does have a musty smell but fun. The bath was great. Has pool and gym. It is situated very close to the Chateaus that...

The room was very well-appointed, comfortable, roomy, and IN A CAVE! Swimming in the grotto was super special. I can see where it could get noisy with a crowd but as a couple it was magnificent. Unfortunately couldn't stay for breakfast so can't comment. Breakfast room looked very classy though.
