We were on a golf trip, and this place happened to be near enough. Not very modern interior (rooms are recently renovated to modern standards), but very cosy and with good service. Funnily, the staff were not all fluent in Finnish, causing a bit of...More
Gustavelund is a good place to have off-site business meetings. Good meeting facilities including large enough meeting rooms. The hotel itself is very place basic with clean rooms for a good night sleep. Serves the purpose but can't recommend for a holiday retreat.
We usually go to Gustavelund because our Company decided to have our meetings there. Spending 2-3 days in this structure is pleasant.

Hi I am keen to stay here for one night with my family ( partner and 2 very young children) next week but we would be travelling by public transport from Helsinki - the nearest bus stop is Hyrylä - we are not afraid of walking a kilometre or 2, but could you tell me if it is safe to walk from that bus stop to your hotel? I am worried it would be a busy road with no pavement or something. Thanks xxx
