Best hostel in Gokarna and the cleanest. It also has the biggest cafe in Gokarna called Mantra Cafe with the best view in town. The hostel conducts activities like beach trek and sunset walks which is a must do activity. The highlight was the workstations set up in the common room, which is perfect for working.

Stayed at Zostel Gokarna in October 2020 right after the lockdown opened. Drove to Gokarna from Pune. Reached the place at around 7. Checkin was fast and we were given dorms for our stay. The view from the dorms is truly mesmerizing and you can see the entire Gokarna beach coastline from there. The dorms were decent and the toilets were okay. But for the price its actually very good. They have seperate rooms as well for family and couples. They have a common area cum restaurant where you can socialise and have beers and chill. The food was decent in the restaurant. Service was okay. Overall a good place to go with friends for a couple of nights.

Place is just on cliff at main Gokarna Beach with a priceless view. There is Mantra Cafe in the property itself. Zostel is a awesome place to stay, it has most of the beaches nearby and Beach view from the property is spectacular.

It was a awsome experience with great views in zostel. Which is just walking distance from kudle beach. One of the best hostel experiences that I've had in India. The location is superb. It's situated on top a cliff and offers a breathtaking views of the Gokarna beach. 👣🌊

It was a great experience to stay. The location is perfect, near to market(by walk or bike) for car it wil be around 5KM. The place was clean and host were very helpful. Best thing about the stay was the Beach view is exactly in front of the dorms and also many view points & Beach are nearby to it. Gokarna Main beach(1KM) Kudle Beach (0.5) Om Beach(3.5KM)

The place is perfectly located on top of hill at the cliff overlooking the sea. Hence the view of beach and sea from zostel for the entire day is awesome. Would recommend the place to all based on from the way it is properly maintained to the food available in the cafe. The Mantra Cafe in zostel is one of the best cafe in gokarna IMO. Beach access is also a plus point since Gokarna main beach is just stairs down from the zostel and kudle beach is like 10 mins walk from the property.

So had gone for an impromptu solo trip to gokarna during the month of March 2021 and stayed at zostel cos that is where I usually stay while traveling solo. Zostel has almost become a brand for people who are travelling solo esp females to stay at a safe place and at the same time meet and make like minded friends.Zostel gokarna was no exception.Would recommend it to everyone right from the way the place was maintained,the staff and the main attraction "Mantra cafe"overlooking the sea.Now that is one view,you can spend the whole day lazing around there.Food also top notch .Overall would recommend zostel gokarna.Added advantage being 1)you can reach gokarna beach by just going down the steps behind the property,2)it's just 600 to 700metres gokarna temple,3)kudle beach is also just a short walk away.…
