Ate here at the end of February 2018. The food was reasonable and prices as well. Service was a bit of a problem and the staff doesn't really care about your order etc. If you have no other option while visiting Om beach than this place will do. Just make sure you repeat your order twice and clearly...
well.. is not so easy to find a good place for dinner at om beach, but om shree ganesh is a pleasant suprise.. the menu is quite big and they also have "western food" (pasta, pizza) if you are fed up of the indian dishes.. during the nighttimes it is mostly quite full and it can take a while until you get a seat (they have a pool table to pass the waiting time :D).. the staff tries to serve you as fast as possible, but at times (specially in season) they are stressed and it can take some time until you get served.. the rooms are simple but clean and the garden is really beautiful..
I have been to this place during season. The behavior of the staff towards Indians was unbelievable. When we asked certain questions about the beach and the nearest places he gave very sarsactic answers which clearly showed he was not interested to answer to our questions. We stayed only one night and next day we had moved to a different place. We felt unwanted. Food was not upto the mark. Expect one person I believe he is the owner remaining all had a blank expression.
The staff are nice and the restaurant is good. The huts are basic - mattress and pillow feel like they've been packed with stones from the foreshore. The one major problem was the rats in the hut. Throughout the night scuttling from the rats woke us, and at one point we thought they were on our baggage. Invest in some cats om shree or some traps. Look, despite those facts it was a good stay. 600 rupees a night right on the beach is pretty great. If your looking for a place to have some intimate time with your partner and looking for a bit more upper class this isn't the place. But it is definitely a backpackers and socialites place to be.
We reached OM beach quite late. The first 2 eateries that we visited were packed, running low on food and slow & terrible service. We moved to the third eatery which was OM Shree Ganesh. Awesome food options, quick service, less crowded. Loved every bit of it.
2 nights stayed at this place, it is a good place, very good chai the man making, and relaxing lounge.. it is not a big place but it's good. i was myself and i enjoyed a lot... there is a small bridge front of the guest house it's look nice and from there to walking distance to kudli beach, the beach is very clean and not rush, thanks you guys
Wonderful place to enjoy with your friends, a drink or two. The sizzlers are good. Enjoyed the walk by the beach in moonlight. The sea view by the balcony was breathtaking. Worth every bit. Gossip , beer , friends and music....
I did not stay here, only visited the restaurant. I went with a group of friends. We ordered sizzlers, some indian food and my personal favorite choco banana pancake. The food was good. The problem is service. They are basically non responsive. It's like they can't hear you.
We visited this place twice for a drink. They make quite nice fruit shakes (Rs90) and have free wifi. The wifi is slow and patchy and obviously doesn't work during the frequent power outages. The staff are friendly though and it's a nice place to sit with a cold drink on a hot day.
We just wanted to have a relaxed weekend on Om Beach and Ganesh Guest house was perfect. We got the only room left which is very very basic but you can also choose to stay in bungalows. The guest house is at the very end of Om Beach so we liked it was not very crowded. Food is quite ok but on a Saturday night which was busy it took long time to get it. Overall, it's nice for a getaway. We spent the whole day sitting around, reading and swimming.
